The bar chart illustrates different activities which children do in their free time in Malaysia, China,
Nigeria, and Sudan.
Overall, it is clear that the computer games are populour among other activities in all countries. While
the reading makes up the lowest rate, watching tv is the same percentage in all of countries.
Looking at Asia countries first, more children tend to spend their spare time on screen time. In
Malaysia, the percentage of children playing computer games is a half, which is 10% more than
China. 30 percent of children have a high interest in watching TV in both countries. Likewise, both
nations have indicated that 25% of children engage in playing board games during their free time. In
Malaysia and China, reading is considered the least favored choice, with percentages of 20% and 15%
respectively.
Among children in Nigeria, computer games have the highest rate, with three-fifths of them engaging
in this activity. Sudan closely follows with half of its children participating. As the as Asia countries,
both African countries have approximately one-third of children spending their leisure time watching
TV. Contrarily, board games are more favored in Sudan compared to Nigeria, with a ten-percent
variation (30% and 20% respectively). Lastly, an equal percentage of children in both countries enjoy
reading, comprising only 10% of the total.
