Procedures.
1. To assemble the trainer, first fix the pedestal module in the designated area, then proceed
to level it using the DIGITAL PROTRACTOR.

2. Once the pedestal module is level, place the MIP Module (Main instrument Panel /
Glareshield Panel) on the pedestal taking care that the two lower center pins enter the guides
on the pedestal, then present the two hex bolts 6 mm, one per LH / RH support of the MIP
Module to the structure of the pedestal module, using the 6 mm hex key.
3.Continue facing the LH / RH side stick module to the ends of the MIP Module, proceed with
leveling if necessary using the DIGITAL PROTRACTOR, taking care that the holes of both
modules are facing each other, insert the bolts and tighten them using the 4-inch hex key. mm.
4. Proceed to fully tighten the hex bolts on the MIP Module brackets to the pedestal.
5. Fix the stringers that will support the pedals between the LH / RH side stick panels and the
panel pedestal, in its lower rear part using four hexagonal screws per stringer, for this we will
use the 4 mm hexagonal key.
6. Once the assembly of the base of the trainer is completed, proceed to assemble the
overhead module, placing the guides on the upper part gently between the rails on the
pedestal module, they must be brought to the stop where they will be held by gravity.
7. Install rails 37 cm apart, 13 cm from the pedestal and 27 cm from the pedals. Use a
flexometer or the tool that fulfills its functions to take the respective measurements. Use a P2
phillips screwdriver to tighten the four screws into the attachment points on each rail. (Not

SPEED X3 / OFF.
The X3 function in the simulator function panel allows the current simulation to speed up to
about X3 speed to make the simulation faster and get to any point faster. When reaching the
desired condition, it will be necessary to reposition the switch in the OFF position, the
simulation will return to the normal condition at the operating speed.

PUSHBACK / DISCONNECT.
It must be taken into account that this switch is spring loaded, which will make it always return
to a 0 position, when activating this command the pushback will begin, it will take
approximately one minute until we see the paymover, which will start the lifting of the wheel
that will It will generate the nose wheel steering signal in the ECAM, then it will audibly say
"tug connected and ready to reverse, please disengage the parking brake" (parking brake) at
this moment said action must be executed, if not done the aircraft will remain at the gate; once
the parking brake is removed, the nose Wheel appears in amber and the transfer begins, the
signal “you can start engines” will also be heard.

Caution: Do not remove the parking brake until receiving the signal, otherwise the sequence in
the simulation will be damaged.

The DISCONNECT option will allow us to disconnect the tug once we are in position, we will
activate it after hearing the signal "Operation completed, please activate the parking brake."
2 options will appear on the instructor's screen to disconnect and reconnect, this will be the

right moment to activate the switch to the DISCONNECT position and it will allow us to continue
properly with the disconnection, about 30 seconds will pass and the audible signal will say
"the tugboat has disconnected, pin by pass left hand signals”, after this the pushback
simulation will end.

Caution: Once the pushback is over, if you do not want to reposition with the WADD GATE 33 /

OPEN DOOR / CLOSE SLIDES.

For the operation of this command, it is necessary that when starting the simulation it is always
in the OPEN DOOR position and it is activated to CLOSE SLIDES only from the console, when
it is ordered to close doors, when activated, the doors will be closed and the sliders will be
armed .

Caution: The switch must not be activated until it returns to ground, if it is activated the doors
will open, producing the depressurization of the aircraft.
Activating the operation of this switch from the IOS can cause faults in the simulation.

Caution: If you return to a point in the simulation where the doors were open, you must return
the switch to the open position before loading the situation.

WADD GATE 33 / 27 R.
The GATE 33/27R switch allows us to carry out the transfer directly to the headland, omitting
the towing process and without losing the simulation data previously applied using the 27R
position. If we want to return to the gate position, we will use the GATE 33 position and the
aircraft will automatically return to this position.

Caution: To use the 27R position, the parking break must be deactivated before actuating it,
otherwise the brake system could be damaged in the simulation.
Once repositioned, you can activate the parking break again.

EXTERNAL POWER / OFF.

The external power switch has two positions, the first EXTERNAL POWER, a position that when
activated will allow us to access ground services (air conditioning (low pressure air), choks
and will give us the availability of 115VAC 400Hz electrical energy, to energize the aircraft.
The OFF position disconnects us from this service).

Caution: Make sure to remove the ground service (EXTERNAL POWER/OFF) before starting the
pushback, not doing so will imply damage in the simulation sequence since the external power
plant is totally independent of the paymover.
If you need to carry out procedures with the indication of an external plant after the pushback,
do not activate disconnect at the end of filming! and turn on the EXTERNAL POWER switch
again to get the indication.
At the end of the instruction on the procedure, disconnect EXTERNAL POWER, then activate
disconnect, wait for the paymover to withdraw and continue training.
