TUESDAY 29TH
Class routine: calendar and date of the day,
express your feelings chart, classroom helpers of
the day and warm up action song.
Sight Words of the week: look – my – see – stop
– open. They will try to do a mimic game, 5
students Can act like every sight Word and the
rest will try to guess and write them in the
board.
Start talking about classroom rules and why are
important, play a video about rules and ask
them which rules should we have in class. Work
in a social contract, put a big paper heart in the
board, hand them small paper pieces, They will
write a class rule, They Can draw and decorate it,
They will paste it in the heart and we will
compromise to follow those rules.
CLASS MATERIALS:
Power point – small white paper pieces for the
students – big paper heart for the board –
markers and colors.
WEDNESDAY 30TH
Class routine: calendar and date of the day,
express your feelings chart, classroom helpers of
the day and warm up action song.
Sight Words (explain the dynamic) look – my –
see – stop – open. They will draw different
things to describe the sight words, for example:
open ( a door, a bottle, a jar, your mouth, etc.)
Tell a story activity, show classroom objects and
ask the students if They know their name in
english (Pencil, eraser, notebook,etc) and explain
They will make up a story with those words,
They Can illustrate it and decorate it, when They
finish every student will talk about their work.
CLASS MATERIALS:
White paper – power point for Tell a story activity
and class routine – colors and markers -
THURSDAY 31ST
Class routine: calendar and date of the day,
express your feelings chart, classroom helpers of
the day and warm up action song.
Sight Words (explain the dynamic) look – my – see –
stop – open. They will review the words and will say
their favorite thing with that word, for example:
open: my favorite thing to open is a juice.
Describing myself activity: students will talk
about their characteristics and qualities as
individuals, what They do best and things They
have to improve. Students will make a paper
book about it and when they finish They will be
in pairs showing their work to their classmates.
CLASS MATERIALS:
Card boards- markers and colors.
