I am Bushra and I’m so happy to be here and attend such a great course with all of you.

Regarding to the question we’ve been asked, absolutely I never agree with it.

It’s not necessary to be able to teach a language only because you speak it.

I never agree with that because as a Syrian citizen and I speak Arabic that hasn’t give me the right or the
ability to teach Arabic to non-native speakers.

First of all Arabic is a very difficult language no one can teach it if he/she hasn’t studied it well and
prepared himself/ herself to teach it. Furthermore, teaching any language need to be a very professional
person when you are teaching, as an English teacher I used to use most of the technics we’ve covered
today at this module.

The person who needs to teach the languageust have learned teaching skills or technics to be able to
teach it especially for foreigners those who speak that language as a second one or non-native language.

Let me give you an example, as I live in Turkey I’ve met so many Turkish people who used to teach
Arabic which is not their native language but they can teach it better than I do because I have no idea
about how to teach my own language to foreigners as I have studied English literature and teaching
technics of who to teach English as a second language.

So here you can see that the Turkish person was better teaching Arabic which is my native language
than me, as I’m sure that I’m better than lots of English native speakers in teaching English for that I’ve
been prepared to teach it not only to speak it unconsciously.

I wish I could have explained well and you enjoy reading it as well as I’m so sorry if my assignment hasn’t
upload.

Have a great day or night all of you.
