1.) Identify some personal values/virtues that can help you when you start working.
Explain how each value/virtue help you.

First personal value that can help me is being honest, I will get people to trust me more and to
show everyone that you wouldn’t be dishonest with them because I value our relationships.
Second one, being kind to other people because by being kind to others will show how good
person I am in a workplace.
Third, being respectful to others because it reflect how I accept them for who they really are even
they are different from me or even I don’t agree with their decision, I still give them respect.
Fourth, being matured enough to be in a workplace. It will improves my ability to make good
decisions and wise choices.
And for the last one, being God fearing because I believed that fearing the Lord will give me
wisdom. All kinds of good will follow into the person who fears the Lord.

2.) Explain the following saying:

A.) A good act loses purity when there is any trace of expectation.
From my own understanding, it means that after someone helped you when you are in need, they
were expecting that you will repay them for what they’ve done to you.

In short is that you lose the importance of helping other people when you ask for something in
return from what you have helped to them.

B.) You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you won’t try.
I believed in the saying “try and try until you succeed”.
It says that there’s a chance you’ll lose a fight if you try to fight but you’ll lose more if you don’t try
to fight your battles. It is better to try than to do nothing.

B. If you want to build a strong relationship with someone, you need to communicate with them. To
maintain a strong relationship, you need to communicate with the person on a regular basis.
Communication helps you learn more about the other person and make the relationship work
better. Communication is important to share feelings, feelings and thoughts about something with
the other person. If you want to get to know someone better, you need communication.

C. In our daily life, communication helps us build relationships by allowing us to share our
experiences, and needs, and helps us connect to others. It’s the essence of life, allowing us to
express feelings, pass on information and share thoughts. We all need to communicate.
Communication skills help leaders to define the goals of team members clearly. It also helps
understand team member’s goals and desires and solve their problems. Effective communication
skills also help an open and good conversation between leaders and their teams, which increases
productivity and efficiency.

Being in your comfort zone makes you feel safe that sometimes you need to come out and try a
new things or you need an experience in life. When you start working, you will be in a new
place/different environment, and written above are different values/virtues that can help you in
work. These values/virtues can help you getting close and having a good relationship to your
officemates/organization. Having a good relationship to your organization can make your working
days better and peaceful.

2. Explain the following saying:

When doing something with a good intentions you don’t have to expect anything in return. Just
like helping someone in need you help them because they need help because you need to do it
and maybe they will give you something in return. You are bless in helping without expectation.
God can see what you are doing and He the one who will pay your good acts.

B. You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you won’t try.
Failure is the stepping stone for success. Why? If you fail, you may be disappointed but this is a
challenge for you to try again and pursue your goals. As the saying says “Never look back on
what disappoints you rather use it as a Key to move forward in pursuing your dreams. Try and try
again until you succeed; Trying is better than doing nothing. Its just like you are waiting for the salt
to turn sweet.

We communicate so we can understand each other because communication is one way process
of expressing opinion and feelings and we communicate so we can share and express what we
felt .Communicate information, make comments, ask questions, express needs and wants, build
relationships with others, and practice social graces, among other things, More than just needs
and wants are communicated. Our primary motivations for communicating shift a little bit over
time.

C.
We communicate because it helps us to connect each other build relationship by sharing our
thoughts, ideas, and experiences. And you will be able to achieve your goals through effective
communication. We need to communicate Leaders and team members because it helps to
understand the goals, desires, and solve the problem in our Country.
