SEMI DETAILED LESSON PLAN IN

GRADE 11-ENTREPRENEURSHIP

I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:
A. Conceptualize market segmentation in the community;
B. Interview the community people/students about the nature of their family and
economic status;
C. Write formal market segmentation of Barangay Lapaz, Cabatuan, Isabela.

II. LEARNING CONTENT:


A. SUBJECT MATTER: ENTREPRENEURSHIP
B. TOPIC: Market Segmentation
C. CONTENT STANDARD: The learner demonstrates understanding of
environment and market in one’s locality/town.
D. PERFORMANCE STANDARD: The learner independently creates a business
vicinity map reflective of potential market in one’s locality/town.
E. SKILLS TO BE DEVELOPED: communication/critical thinking
F. LEARNING COMPETENCIES: CS_EP11/12ENTREP-0d-8

III. INSTRUCTIONAL PROCEDURE:


A. Preparatory activities
-prayer
-checking of attendance

B. Activity 1

Process: the students will be group into five. They will draw the political map of
Barangay Lapaz, Cabatuan, Isabela. They will put some important land marks in
the barangay.

C. Analysis:
1. What Purok has the highest land area in your barangay?
2. What do you think is the Purok which has the highest number of
population?
3. What place is considerable for business in your barangay?

D. Abstraction
 Market Segmentation

E. Application

Process: the students be grouped together and conduct interview with the
community people/students available. They have just given 15 minutes to gather
information.
1. Religion
2. Family income
3. Occupations
4. Health problems
5. Age
IV. ASSESSMENT
The students will go to their respected groups and they will write and the consolidated data.
They will write formal segmentations of the barangay Lapaz, cabatuan Isabela. They will be
given the chance to present their output for 5 minutes per group.
