This was very good. We did read the comments

before, and found it to be a little sweet for our
tastes. We added 2 drops of orange bitters, and
that seemed to cut down on the sweet.

Indeed overpowering as previous commentator

mentioned, though for me it was too sweet, not
too bitter. Next time I will cut down on the
Montenegro and see if I like it.

I like Manhattans and bitter drinks but even I

found this slightly over-powering. I tamed it with
a bar spoon of syrup from the cherry jar and half
a shot of sweet vermouth and it balanced better,
to my taste.
