He is a
voracious reader. He has read 100’s of fiction books. I am amazed by his ability to focus
intensely, and complete a fiction book in one day. I read a lot of nonfiction books. My son never
read a non-fiction book.
I never force him to read one. How does it matter if he reads fiction or nonfiction. I am happy to
see him read. What is more important is that he’s developing the habit of lifelong reading. Also
reading fiction books helps him to develop visualization skills. For the first time my son asked
me the list of non-fiction books he should read.
When the student is ready, the teacher will appear. I promised him to put together a list of
books, videos, and materials that he should spend time reading. The list covers several themes
including learning, psychology, neuroplasticity, numeracy, statistics and probability, thinking,
multidisciplinary, biography, and life.

Charlie Munger once told that, The best thing a human being can do is to help another human
being know more. I am sharing this list so that any 9th grader and above can get the keys to
open the gates of lifelong learning.
