1. PREPARATORY WORKS
• Identification and Traceability of Leakage areas
o After the identification of leakage and unsound surfaces, it
must be dismantled and removed.
o After the dismantling works the debris must be removed and
dumped in trash.
o Cleaning of Surface which is to be treated.
o After all the chipping and removal of debris the surface which
us to be treated is to thoroughly be cleaned with either water
or air blower.

2. CORE/BORE FILLING OF DRAINPIPES PASSING THROUGH R.CC. SLAB

o The gaps/voids between the pipes and R.C.C slab must be

filled with non-shrinkage impervious material to prevent
the seepage of water from the collar of the pipe or the voids
between the pipe and R.C.C slab.
o After the bore packing is done it must be left for 48 hours
and then the testing around the packing is done by making a
temporary water storage boundary around the treated area
and checked if there is any leakage.
o After the successful testing then work is proceeded for the
next step.

3. WATERPROOFING FOR FLOOR

o Conventional waterproofing to be done and after the levels
are set and the waterproofing is completed, next step will
be proceeded.

4. REPAIR OF BROKEN PIPES

o Any broken pipes will be replaced.

5. RE-INSTATEMENT / TILE LAYING

o Concrete will be laid out and consecutively the tiles will be
installed accordingly.
