Economic Freedom

Economic freedom is the basic rights of every human to

manage their own labor and property. It gives personnel equal
economic opportunity without being aggressed by others. In
economically open societies, governments agree to effort, capital
and goods to travel liberally (freely); and also refrain from
constraint of freedom further than the level essential to keep and
sustain liberty itself. It means that the people of the country are
free to work, produce, consume, and even invest in their own
way which they think is the most productive to them. Based on
this, economically free societies get full control and
responsibility of their property, skills and ideas. Depending on
these issues, government can promote the economic freedom by
implementing a legal structure and law enforcement rules that
will protect their citizen’s rights. At the same time, the
government does not have the right to get in the way with the
personal right of the citizen. For the reason that, administration

5
interference reduces economic freedom, if the interference is by
substituting the taxes voluntary exchange, market coordination,
and government expenditures regulation for personal choice.

paragraph in F above. Make sure that your essay consists of an introductory paragraph, three
body paragraphs and a concluding paragraph. (5 points)

Economic freedom

1. The ability of people of a society to take economic

actions freely is known as economic freedom. It is the
absence of government’s threatening force or constraint on
the production, distribution or consumptions of goods and
services beyond the extent necessary for the citizens to
protect and maintain liberty itself. Furthermore, economic

6
freedom plays a great role in giving individual citizen an
important opportunity and making self-reliant and beneficial
citizen of the country. Therefore, economic freedom is the
fundamental right of every human to control his/her own
labor and property. Economic freedom is one of the most
important determinants of economic outcomes of a country.
It gives individuals equal economic opportunity, full control
and responsibility of their property, skills and ideas. It also,
reduces poverty, improves individuals well-being and their
families future.
2. Another importance of economic freedom is being
beneficiary for individual citizens. The most obvious benefit
of economic freedom is that it is a system as system it is the
most conducive to wide spread prosperity. As the result, it is
used to expand or raise income and consumption for the bulk
of the population.
3. On the basis of the above idea, the corners stones
of economic freedom are: Personal choice, voluntary
exchange, which is coordinated by market, freedom to enter
7
and complete in the markets as well as protection of persons
and their property from the violence by the others. In other
word, it is the freedom to produce, trade,, consume any
goods and services obtained without the use of force, fake or
theft.
4. Economic freedom also helps every human being as a
fundamental right to control his or her own labor and
property. In economically free societies, governments allow
labor, capital and goods to move freely; and retrain
compulsion. However, government can promote the
economic freedom through implementing a legal structure
and enforcing rules that will protect their citizen’s rights.
Meanwhile, the government has no the right to interfere with
the personal right of the citizens’ because, the government
illegal interference minimizes economic freedom by
violating personal choice, voluntary exchange and marketing
systems.
5. To sum up, economic freedom can be seen in
different dimensions. As it has been stated in the above
8
paragraphs, economic freedom is a basic right of mankind to
take economic actions; it also used as stepping stone to
exercise and maintain liberty. Moreover, economic freedom
is a system or technique, which is used to allocate prosperity
for dense population by rising income and consumption.
