A Planned Independent Requirement is a planned requirement for a material and a supply planning
area without reference to a sales order. It contains a time series with the planned material
requirements (Planned Independent Requirement items) and also identifying and administrative
information.

Maintain PIRs tile.

open the list.

screen, quantities
per period should be
entered. Here, 100 is
entered as the
quantity.

status for Version is
Active to Yes, choose
the switch button.

20. Choose Save.

To return to the
launchpad,
choose SAP.
