Good afternoon teacher and classmates.

ESTEFANO: I´m a student and I like to know any

news about famous people. In my class, we
have to do a presentation about different
points of view on fame.
Most famous people are young adults
Fame is all I want to have, but I know that it
has a lot of disadvantages too, and for that, I’m
happy being a private citizen.
Today I’m going to interview a famous actress,
who is very successful and I’ve seen a lot of
information about her, a lawyer, and an
entertainment blogger because I want to know
their points of view. I´m planning to talk about
this in my presentation.

Estefano: Hi, Alisson. It’s nice of you to accept

an interview for my presentation.
Alisson: Don’t worry, I’m so excited about this
interview.
Estefano: How do you deal with paparazzi?
Alisson: It has been hard to get used to having
them always behind me. I need to contract
security for protection, but I have to be aware
that my job includes that. Therefore I can’t do
anything.
Estefano: How do you feel when you see the
tabloids about you?
Alisson: I used to feel angry about it, but now I
just ignore them. Sometimes the media is
disturbing, they think they know everything
about me.
Estefano: Do you think about having children?
Alisson: I don’t think about that. I made up my
mind that I’m never going to have children
because If I have them, I would like that they
have a normal life, without paparazzi. If one
day I change my mind, I might retire from the
industry.
Estefano: Have ever they invaded your house?
Alisson: Yes, they have. They broke my window
because they wanted to know what I was
doing, and I had to call the police.
My life is not normal, and sometimes people
judge me for what I do in my life, you can see
that on social media, in magazines, and on TV.
I would like to be valued for my talent in
acting.

Estefano: Ok Alisson, thanks for your time.

Alisson: You’re welcome.

Estefano: Hi Jhusten.
Jhusten: Hi Estefano.
Estefano: I want to ask you some questions
about your job.
Jhusten: Ok, go ahead.
Estefano: What are the most visited posts?
Jhusten: The posts with more views are about
public figures. The general public is interested
in famous people.
Estefano: Who do you work with?
Jhusten: I work with paparazzi. They sell me
photos of public figures doing whatever. The
general public loves knowing everything about
it. Later I publish the photos and write a
description explaining the situation.
Estefano: All the pictures that you buy, are
published?
Jhusten: No, I just share some pictures, the
most important. For example, I published this
picture of Hailey Bieber going out of the gym.
She is holding her cell phone. You can
recognize her, she´s the one with blond hair.
Estefano: Don’t you feel bad invading the
privacy of these people?
Jhusten: No, because they know that they are
public figures and it’s normal to be followed by
paparazzi. They can’t do anything to stop it.
Once you are famous, everybody wants to
know, where are you, what are you doing, and
if you have a girlfriend or boyfriend.
I´m sorry but, now I have to work, I’m going to
write a blog
about Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck.
Estefano: Ok, thanks for your time.

Estefano: Good afternoon Mrs. Solano.

Estefany: Good afternoon Estefano
Estefano: Thank you for accepting this
interview.
Estefany: It’s ok, let’s start.
Estefano: Can you explain to me what is your
job?
Estefany: Of course, I am a lawyer for
celebrities, every time they have a demand or
legal problem. Some of them ask for my help.
Estefano: That’s so interesting, What’s your
opinion about paparazzi following them
everywhere? Is that allowed?
Estefany: Unfortunately we can’t do anything
to stop that, they are too exposed, It should be
annoying for them but it’s part of choosing that
life.
Estefano: Yes I understand that, but Is it
allowed to disturb them in their own homes?
Estefany: Celebrities, like all people, have
certain rights, therefore paparazzi are not
allowed to disturb their houses.
Estefano: Have you ever dealt with a case like
that?
Estefany: Many times, like they are public
figures, obviously they are always in tabloid
news, but sometimes the media is invasive,
and they publish the addresses of their houses.
One night, a client called me crying saying that
was so scared, and told me: ¡The window is
broken! , a man has been following me since a
month ago. I need your help, I want to sue him.
Estefano: That’s horrible.
Estefany: Yes I know, I don’t understand this,
you admire someone, you respect their work,
but you have to respect their privacy too. It’s
simple. The media wouldn’t be so invasive if
people didn’t want to know about their private
lives.
Estefano: That it’s true, thank you so much. My
work is ended.
Estefany: Ok Estefano, I’m so glad I helped you.
