those soldiers’s lives will be meaningless. They died for us, for the protection of
their country; they died for Viet Nam, for our freedom. Well, take a moment now
and then to reflect on the freedoms and peace in our life, and to remember the
soldiers who served and sacrificed for all we have today.
2. Is there a day in your country when people remembersoldiers who died in wars?
- Yes. Vietnam observes its Day for Martyrs and Wounded Soldiers on July 27 each
year. On this day, the country remembers and honors wounded Vietnam soldiers
for their sacrifices during the country’s many wars.
