    FORMAL REQUIREMENTS FOR WRITTEN ASSIGNMENTS

    There are different technical standards with regards to written assignments. For the listening final
    assignment, the standards are as follows:

    a) Pages are arranged in this order: cover page, table of contents, and other content pages

    b) The assignment needs to be typed, in the following format:


    - Times News Romans, Font size 13, line spacing 1.5
    - Top, bottom, and right margin set at 2.0, left margin 3.0.
    - The pages need to be numerated.
    - Effects such as bold and italics can also be used in text. Underlining is not recommended. Effects
    must be used consistently.

    c) The assignment should be printed double sided.

    d) Headlines are to be written from the left margin, not centred. If the headlines are ranged in sub
    headlines, there should not be more than three levels. The ranking is to be shown by using capital
    and lower-case letters and the decimal number system as in the following example:

    e) New vocabularies should be presented in tables.

    f) We have a strict policy on plagiarism. Serious consequences will be taken in incidents of


    plagiarism.

    g) Submitting the assignments: All your assignments are to be submitted online before handing
    printed versions.
