TRẦN BÍCH NGỌC – TTĐC A1_K42

Talk about the advantages and disadvantages of where you live now.
I was born and grew up in Dong Anh – a calm and tiny village in the suburban area
in Hanoi. I strongly believe that living in my hometown has both pros and cons.
Living in the countryside – specifically Dong Anh, where I live now – brings up
many advantages. To begin with, the quality of life in the countryside is higher
than in the city since the air quality is typically better and fresher, and there are less
pollution, garbage, and motorcycles than in the city. Furthermore, green areas are
considered broader and greener in the suburbs.
Secondly, the cost of living is quite low. All of the food are supplied by locals so
the price for these will be substantially cheaper than in the metropolis.
Furthermore, the rent cost which is an important factor for people to decide where
to live in my hometown is affordable. When comparing the cost of renting a
property in the countryside to it in the city, there may be significantly difference.
People living in the countryside can save money easily, as a result.
Thirdly, the village where I live is quite convenient. It still has markets, stores,
cafés, kindergartens, primary schools, open spaces like a small park and a lake.
Having multiple conveniences in one location might occasionally improve one's
quality of life. Moreover, it reduces travel time from locals' homes, hence lowering
pollution from personal automobiles.
On the other hand, living in the countryside has some drawbacks. The biggest
problem is that it is far from the city center. So it takes me a long time to go by car
or bus whenever I go out. In addition, living here is sometimes quite boring. Living
far from the city center means having fewer types of entertainment, especially
entertainment nightlife. There are few café shops open in the evening, few
restaurants that sell at night, not to mention a cinema to enjoy a movie or a
shopping center to wander around.
Overall, living in a rural village can be both rewarding and challenging. It is
important to weigh the pros and cons and decide if it is the right fit for you and
your family. Nevertheless, it's essential to maintain a positive outlook. In my
opinion, Dong Anh is an ideal place to live if people want to have a healthy life.
