To be honest, living in the metropolis has its own advantages and disadvantages.
Starting with pros, I can say that a person who lives in a big city has an opportunity
for applying for a well-paid and enjoyable job. It is worth mentioning that in cities
like this, you can easily go sightseeing or visit a various amount of entertaining
places. Next, due to the low public transport prices you can save up some money
for a rainy day.
Turning to the other side of an argument, horrible noise and traffic are the major
disadvantages of living in a city. As we know, car is an object that pollutes our
environment every day. Moreover, if you are a driver you have to deal with a rush-
hour traffic on your way home. In addition, noise pollution can damage to your
health for a long period of time. Another disadvantage is that a lot of cities are
crowded and every single day you feel under pressure. Then, living in city is pretty
expensive. Property prices are higher and so are goods.
Overall, I want to say that living in a metropolis is not my cup of tea. Undoubtedly,
it has great advantages but also some uncomfortable cons. Personally speaking,
living in a quiet town near the big city is my preference. If you are not disinterested
in taking various amount of educational courses or you dream about applying for a
job of your dream big city is a right choice. But if you want more green space, you
are crazy about nature small town or village would be great for you.
