WRITING TASK 2 (TEST 2)

Getting around a large city can be a puzzle, and people often debate whether it is better to drive
their own cars or hop on public transport. While many appreciate the freedom that driving a car
gives them, a large number of people feel that public transport is the only practical option for
traveling around a large city.

Firstly, the joy of owning a car is for sure hard to beat, but imagine the chaos of city traffic in large
cities. Cars are everywhere, inching along, and you are stuck in the middle of them. It is stressful,
and you might be late for work or other appointments.

However, public transport, on the other hand, can zip through traffic, helping you avoid these
headaches. It is a faster, cheaper, and more eco-friendly way to get around large cities. Public
transport is not about ditching your car; it is about smart choices.

Adding to this, I understand that not everyone is thrilled about packed buses or trains. That is okay;
you can stick to your car. However, you must know that sticking to your car might cost you more,
take up more time, and not be as eco-friendly.

In conclusion, while the freedom of having a car is undeniably sweet, it is worth considering other
options for travel, especially in large cities. There are practical and environmental reasons to
encourage using public transport. It can make your daily travels smoother and contribute to a
cleaner, more efficient city. It can also save you money and unwanted headaches.
