Transport plays an important part in economic growth and globalization, but most types cause air pollution and
use large amounts of fossil fuels. There are two methods in which people travel around an area either using
Public Transport or their personal cars. However, in my opinion, Public Transport has much more benefits than
Private Transport.

Using public transport is much less taxing on the environment compared to private vehicles. Since a lot of
people can ride the same vehicle, the carbon emissions per head are largely reduced and help the community to
stay healthy with fewer health diseases eg lung disease, cough, etc. Also walking to the nearest bus stops forces
us to walk which is of great benefit. Electrically powered transportation like the LRTs and KTMs are also
friendlier to the environment than gas-guzzlers. And even if we are using our personal electric cars then also we
are using electricity in large amounts which affects the community and in turn people negatively.

Another benefit to riding on public transport is that valuable money can be saved by opting for buses as a mode
of travel. In case you use a personal car for transportation, you have to pay lots of amounts related to fuel,
maintenance, and parking expenditures. Also While using the bus as transportation, you are free to enjoy your
journey. You no need to drive, rather put your head on the back of the seat to have rest, read any interesting
book, or watching the beautiful passing scenes. Even you may interact with other passengers, make new friends,
and learn from their experiences. Not but not least, open up your mobile and enjoy any movie or social media
chat with your dear ones.

However, Public transport is time-sensitive. You have to catch them when they’re available. And many services
in Malaysia slow down or close completely when it’s late enough in the night. This means while you can go to
most places, you can’t go there whenever you want. But still using public transport when it is available can help
to create a sustainable community and environment.

The world is facing the biggest challenges in the shape of global warming and atmospheric pollution. Both these
factors are contributing to climate change that has a negative impact on the global climate so in my opinion
public trandsport is best which an towns, cities and people.
