The impact of tourism on a city

We are attracted to the idea of traveling, but have you ever wondered the impact that tourism
has in a city? In this essay I will expand on different affirmations that some people said in opposition to
tourism.
Firstly, some of the citizens, from different cities complain about them never having a moment
of peace. It is really challenging to live in a city were there is always people meandering.
Imagine living in a city were you have to wait in the line for hours or arriving home too late after being
stuck in a traffic jam even walking on the street may be difficult.
Furthermore this is not the only problem it may cause. Another negative impact of tourism is the
pollution it causes not only to the city but to the world. If you think of it, most of the time that we go on
a trip we are using vehicles that produce different kinds of gasses that are injurious for the planet. Yet,
thinking of the city, is known that a variety of new people every day generate lots of litter, for example
if they throw the envelopes of what they bought.
To sum up both of them are prejudicial to the city, however in my opinion a busy city is not the
major problem that tourism might cause it could even be nice for some people. That is why I believe
that the second problem is more important, not only to the city but to the world.
