Last Guy

By Jezryle Bicarme

One day there was a girl named Thea who was in

love with a guy who was full of red flags. Thea is a lovely
and simple girl; she gave all her love, care, and trust to
her boyfriend. Her boy friend is lazy, numb, and selfish,
and he focuses more on her friends. His boyfriend did not
pay attention to Thea`s effort; he focused more on his
friends. Every time that the guy went into his friend's
house to have fun, but Thea didn't allow his boyfriend to
go to his friend's house, and the man insisted, and until
they fought and the man left angry with each other, the
man didn't care about the feeling of Thea if she hurt or
not.
The last few weeks, Thea noticed that his boyfriend
often goes to his friend's house to have fun, and Thea is
left alone at home. At this time, his boyfriend has not
come home for three days, and Thea is worried about
him. Thea tried to call him, but he didn’t answer the call,
not even his friends, so she decided to go into his friends
house. When she arrived, she saw the door open, and
she rushed in, and she saw her boyfriend drinking, and
there was a woman beside him. She was surprised by
what she saw. She didn’t expect that his boyfriend would
do that to her, so she decided to go home, and he did not
wake up her boyfriend. When she arrived home, she
packed her bags and left a note for her boyfriend,
explaining how she couldn't deal with his behavior
anymore and needed to put herself first.
Months went by, and Thea tried to move on from the
painful relationship. She focused on her work and her
hobbies, trying to forget the hurt and betrayal she felt
from her ex-boyfriend. But deep down, she still loved
him and missed him terribly.
One day, Thea received a call from her ex-boyfriend's
friend. He told her that her ex had died in a car accident
while driving drunk. The news shocked Thea to her core.
She couldn't believe that the man she loved was gone
forever.
At the funeral, Thea saw her ex-boyfriend's friends and
family grieving for him. She couldn't help but feel a pang
of jealousy that they were the ones who got to spend
time with him in his last moments. She regretted leaving
him and wished she could turn back the clock.
As Thea left the funeral with tears streaming down her
face, she knew that she would never be able to truly
move on from her love for her ex-boyfriend. The sad
reality of their relationship was that it was toxic and
ultimately ended in tragedy.
