DepEd Order No. 16, s. 2017 titled Research Management Guidelines form the groundwork for backing various research activities and endeavors, such as executing basic and action research, towards accomplishing the basic education research agenda and the cross-cutting themes. 2. In line with this, this Office, through the Planning and Research Section of the School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD}, calls for the submission of basic/applied and action research proposals for possible funding under the Special Education Fund. 3. With the theme, Promoting Resilient and Inclusive Education for Holistic Development, the research proposals to be considered must be aligned to the following research sub-themes: a) Disaster Risk Reduction and Management; b) Mental Health issues among DepEd personnel and learners; ¢) Gender and Development; d) Inclusive Education; and ¢} Assessment 4. By unifying these themes, it emphasizes the significance of creating an educational system that supports the well-being, growth, and inclusive development of all learners and educational stakeholders. 5.
