During the examination hours – 3 hours (MCQ–10:00 AM to 1:00 PM)
1. Open the question paper packet of IOQM (MCQ) in front of two students at 09:50 AM. Take
signatures by the students with their name.
2. Distribute the question paper at 09:55 AM, there is only one version.
3. When the exam starts, announce that the OMR answer sheet will be taken away exactly after 3
hours i.e. will endby 1:00 PM
4. Go around and check that each candidate has entered his/her Roll Number correctly (check with
Hall Ticket) on the OMR Sheet.
5. Write the OMR Barcode number in the space provided in the attendance list.
6. While taking the candidates’ signatures on the Hall ticket and attendance list in presence of
Invigilator, ensure candidate has entered the below mentioned:
a. His/her Roll Number correctly (check with Hall Ticket) on the OMR Sheet.
b. OMR Barcode number in the space provided in the attendance list.
7. At 12:50 PM announce that the exam will end in 10 minutes.
8. Collect only Answered OMRs at 1:00 PM from the candidates and Question paper can be carried
by the student.
1. Collect from candidates Office copy of OMR answer sheets and handover the student copy to
students.
2. Materials to be packed in the envelope marked “Used OMR Sheets” tamper proof after
count and match with Attendance count and seal the envelope in front of Centre-in-charge:
a. Used OMR sheets.
b. Invigilator diary.
c. Consolidated attendance sheet.
3. This tamper proof will be packed in a cloth bag or carton box provided.
4. Materials not to be packed are:
a. Unused OMR sheets
b. Unused Question paper
(Take copies of this page so that each room has one copy of these instructions and a seating plan
preparedby center in charge for each room.)
1. The invigilators have to be very vigilant and ensure that there is no unfair practice
adopted by any one at any point of time.
2. The invigilators shall not offer any explanation to the contents of the question
paper unless otherwise instructed.
3. Distribute the QP as well as OMR sheet serially and as per the seating plan.
4. Guide the students in filling details (in BLOCK letters) like: Student’s name, birth
date, in the OMR sheet without overwriting and in a legible way and by darkening the
appropriate bubbles.
5. Writing material like pen, pencil is allowed.
6. No computational aid or electronic equipment such as Graphing Calculators, Mobile
phones, Smart- watches, Pagers, log tables, slide rules etc. are allowed in the
examination room by students and invigilators both.
7. Calculators are not allowed for IOQM (09:00 AM to 1:00 PM)
8. No other computational aid or electronic equipment such as Graphing Calculators,
Mobile phones, Smart-watches, Pagers, log tables, slide rules etc. are allowed.
9. OMR answer sheets should be marked only by Blue / Black ball point pen.
10. No eatable is allowed in the examination room by invigilator or by the student.
11. Student and invigilator must put their signatures in respective boxes on OMR sheet.
12. No student is allowed to leave his/ her seat during the entire examination duration.
13. Maintain the record of attendance properly by obtaining the students signature. If a
student is absent, invigilator should write ABSENT in red ink in the attendance
sheet. The attendance sheet (Invigilator Diary cum Attendance sheet) duly signed by
the students must be enclosed along with the answered OMR’s. The QP code in the
Invigilator Diary cum Attendance sheet may be left blank.
14. Carefully collect 1st page of OMR sheets of all present students. Students can take
away QP and candidates copy of OMR sheet.
15. Follow the time schedule meticulously.
