LESSON PLAN
CITIZENSHIP TRAINING PROGRAM
Content Standard: The learner learns about Citizenship Training Program and it’s two
components: Basic Leadership and Public Safety to enhance learners’ social responsibility and
commitment to the development of their communities.
Performance Standard: The learner intends to develop their abilities to uphold law and order
as they actively lead and participate in activities and projects for community development, and
assist the government, especially in times of emergencies.
I. OBJECTIVE/S:
a. Practice promptness and punctuality at all times.
III. PROCEDURE
Preliminaries:
a. Attendance
b. Review
c. Unlocking of difficulties
- Punctuality
- Promptness
ACTIVITY:
a. Group Activity. The class will be divided into four groups (4). Group 1 and 3 will
discuss on advantages/ benefits of punctuality and promptness. The Group 2 and
4 will discuss the disadvantages of being late. Each group will be given 5-7
minutes to prepare for their output.
b. Presentation of outputs. Each group will be given 2 -3 minutes to present.
ANALYSIS
Based on the activity, teacher will ask the following questions.
ABSTRACTION
1. Teacher will process the answers of the students leading to abstraction of concepts of
punctuality and promptness.
2. Teacher then discuss concepts of punctuality and promptness for deepening of lesson.
APPLICATION :
1. Cite an example / or experience that you practice punctuality and promptness in your
daily life?
IV. EVALUATION
a. Do you believe in the saying:” Time is gold” How can you relate this saying to
punctuality and promptness? Explain your answer
V. ASSIGNMENT
Research on the following;
1. Patriotism
2. bravery
3. Loyalty
4. courage
Delivery of lesson went well. Objectives were attained. Students participated and
interacted with the activities and discussion.

ACTIVITY: Concept Web Making. Each group will create a concept web about freedom and present it
in the class.
