    Project Title: Face Detection and Recognition

    Abstract:
    Advances in face detection and recognition have transformed various applications like
    security and human-computer interaction. Face detection, locating faces in images, has
    evolved from traditional methods to deep learning. Modern convolutional neural
    networks (CNNs) excel due to their feature learning from pixel data, aided by datasets
    like WIDER Face. Face recognition, identifying individuals, faces challenges like
    lighting, pose, and occlusion variations. Deep learning, especially siamese and triplet
    networks, has revolutionized this field. However, privacy concerns, bias mitigation, and
    security against adversarial attacks are ongoing challenges. In a rapidly evolving
    landscape, responsible development, ethics, and robustness are key focuses for the future
    of face-related technologies.
