Ⅰ. Attention
Carefully read and follow all safety precaution and warnings before attempting to install and use rolling door
motor, incorrect installation can lead to severe injury.
 The rolling door motor should be installed by a qualified technician; otherwise, serious personal injury or
property damage may occur.
 The push button should be installed in the operable area, where away from the ground more than 1.5
meters that the children couldn’t touch it. And it also should be far away from all of the active parts.
 Do not wear ring, watch, and loose clothes while installing the motor. Please use the solid wooden
staircase to go up and down.
 Notify users that the door motor is never to be operated unless it is in full view.
 Before any job on the door motor, cut out electrical power.
 Do not in any way modify the components of the rolling door motor, otherwise serious personal injury or
property damage may occur. We do not accept responsibility for damage or injury resulting from
installing this door motor.
 Do not attempt to walk or drive through the door during open or close the door. The motor should not
leave away before the motor stop working.
 Before finishing installing all parts of the motor, please don’t motor the motor.
 The rolling door motor must be grounded, connect grounding wire to the sprocket bracket.
 Do not pull the hand chain or release lever during opening or closing the door.
 Do not closing the door by pulling the release lever as normal working mode, otherwise, serious
personal injury or property damage may occur.(It’s only an emergency mode)

 Our company reserves the right to change the design and specification without prior notification.
 Keep the remote control away from child (it says: to install the manual operate high enough so that child
can’t touch it), in case of the motor works automatic.
 The motor is not the appliance which is for continuous working.
 To exchange the battery, must be the professional staff.
 The height position to install the motor should exceed 2.5 meters from ground.
 Please install the motor as these instructions. Or else, our company won’t be responsible of any
damage about motor.
 Regularly check the rolling door motor, if any problem happened, please contact our agent.
 Prevent the roller shutter motor from stand testing, otherwise the oil on the speed transforming gear
which in the gear box will be lost. In that case, the gear will be working noisy and broken easy.
 Please install the motor according to user’s manual, otherwise we don’t be responsible of the motor’s
damage.

Ⅱ. Function Introduction

1. Beautiful modeling, advanced structure.

All of the components are well-designed and under strictly controlled. The motor shells are
pressure-cast with high strength aluminum alloy materials, light and durable. The surface is
electrostatic sprayed by powder and baking finished, so that it may not easy to fade or get rusty.
2. Low noise, slight vibration.
Reduction gear is made in high class cuprum alloy proceeding and special treatment. The solenoid
brake components are made of brake material of the advanced car, which ensure the brake safety
when the power off suddenly.
3. Strong horse power.
All of motor windings with enough weight which are under strictly control by our company. 100%
motor testing the max lifting force before packaging.
4. Precisely open and closed.
Mechanic Limit switch adjusts the door position in both "up" and "down" precisely and safely.
5. Overheat Protection
There is overheating protection inside AC motor. When the motor’s temperature grows up to 135
degree, the power supply will be cut off automatically to protect the motor. Till the temperature down
to 70, it can be used again.

6. Power failure

When the power is failure, pulling the chain by hand may lift the door up and down, and pulling the
clutch lever may let the door quickly down.
7. Application
It’s always to drive doors of garages, shops, malls, exhibition halls, museums, warehouses,
industrials and so on.

Note: The maximum lifting force for maximum output strength of motor, not the lift door weight. User should
consider the friction, wind and other factors on the door body and the guide rail resistance, and the
influence of the width of the door, roller deflection on output power of rolling door motor.

Ⅴ. Working environment and working conditions

1. Working temperature: -20 ℃ ~ 50 ℃, relative humidity is below 90% (25 ℃), (changes in the ambient
air temperature with the season).
2. Used in indoor or similar places, pay attention to moisture, rain.

3. Power supply voltage: rated voltage × (1 ± 10%) V.

4. Short-time working, continuous operation shall not exceed 7 minutes.
5. Installation height of rolling door motor, not less than 2.5 meters.
6. Not strong electromagnetic interference sources around, no explosive medium, no corrosion of metal
medium.

Ⅵ. Installation and Debugging

1. The product is made as per the right installation (see from inside the door to outside) if as per the left
installation, please relax four locked bolt of driving shell, namely lock strictly again after circumrotate
manual slide fastener, adjust the switch of the electronic control box.
2. The support plank of chain wheel is installed as reference (Picture 1) and you can choose horizontal
installation or 0~45 ℃range installation. When you don’t choose horizontal installation, please
circumvolve brake shell and make ring manual chain upright down, specially pay attention the match
of the shell and coalescence place of the motor cover at the same time, make sure no slot, tight the
four bolt (the opposite angles is even). Avoid braking the shell as the wring is too strong, which effect
the brake.
3. According to the span of the door’s hole , the weight of the door , count the outer diameter and wall
thickness , the degree ≤ 1/300.
4. The rolling door should be installed horizontally and the two ends support of the rolling door shaft
should be concentric and horizontal, rolling door curtain isn’t meeting block.
5. The installation process(Picture 4, Picture 5 )

A. To main bracket fixed embedded parts on structures or using expansion bolts fixed on the wall.
B. The support bracket and bearing seat is installed at the other end of the wall or the embedded part. Pay
attention to the left and the right ends of two axis concentric, no dislocation.
C. The transmission board is welded in the inner hole at one end, and the two support boards and a core
shaft be welded at the other end of the roller.
D. Fixed rolling door motor and adjust the chain, make the chain to a snug fit. Generally chain drop 2 ~ 4m.
E. Installed roller and curtains.
F. After installation, downward vertical pull manual chain (Picture 5), make the door 1 meter away from the
ground. (pay attention to the direction of rotation, as right provided for clockwise, counterclockwise left
installation; operating device should be flexible, reliable, open, closed door should be normal.)
G. The power supply and the controller is switched on, the test "on", "stop", "down" button, observation
roller shutter of ascending, descending, stop each function is sensitive and reliable.

6. Adjusting limit travel

Limit switches are needed to stop the door at the correct opened and closed positions.
a.Rotate the screw to free the limit cam wheel, open the door to desired position, turn the limit cam wheel
until OPEN limit switch clicks. Finally tighten the screw.
b.Rotate the screw to free its limit cam wheel, close the door to desired position, turn the limit cam wheel
until CLOSE limit switch clicks. Finally tighten the screw.
c. After adjusting, you can open the door then close the door and observe whether the door has

successfully reached the opened and closed positions. If the door does not reach the opened or
closed position, fine adjust the limit cam wheel to suit the desired distance. The process is the same
as the adjusting as above.

7. The use of clutch lever (Picture 7)

The door body in the open state, as shown in Picture 7, press the clutch lever, the door body by gravity
down fast operation. As is the case of power failure by drop device to close the door, operation attention to
press the stop door body, so as to avoid falling too fast to damaging the door body. Through repeated
operation, the door body fell to distance close spacing distance, and then adopt manual chain to make door
body close to the proper position.

8. Right hand and Left hand installation
a. Motor part: Motor is normally delivered right hand. (View from inside the opening), If you need to change
it to the left hand installation as follow: Undo the four screws on the housing, then turn the upper housing
180° and ensure the chain hangs vertically, finally tighten the screws. Make sure there is no clearance
between upper housing and lower housing. If the operator has pawl, turn the pawl 180° at the same
time.

b. Push button: Right hand installation according to the diagram (Picture 9), if user wants to motor at left
hand installation should exchange the white line to green line.

c. Plate part: Right hand installation according to the diagram (Picture 10), if you need to install on left hand,
please change anti break safety device onto another anti break shaft.

d. Remote Control: Receiver is normally delivered right hand. If you need to install left hand, just make the
dip switch of receiver to another side. Please accord to receiver label.
