Chapter I: The Journey Begins

“Warrior of the Goddess… A new journey awaits you…”

Once upon a time, in the region of


Littlewood, our Hero of the story
arises to start his trial in becoming a
Royal Knight, given to him by his
master and mentor, Juliette.
They journey untoward the Verdant
Plains for our hero’s first real battle.
Merging victorious against a Honey
Bee, the party journeyed to Goo
Forest nearby for the next step in the
trial, battling plenty of furry foxes
and buzzing bees along the way.
Stepping foot in Goo Forest, the party
found themselves fighting against
Basic and Caster slimes.
Exploring the forest, many items
were recovered – a Potion, Revival
Herb and 2 Antidotes – for their
perilous mission.
After many battles with slimes, the
intrepid duo recovered their injuries
before venturing deeper into the Goo
Forest, meeting the Forest Guardian,
Juliette puts the trial on hold as a
Toxic Dryad Guardian appears.
Defeating the Dryad Guardian was no
easy feat, but our heroes triumphant
in the end before going back to
Littlewood to rest. Juliette was keen
to award her pupil with a more hands
on experience.

Chapter ⅠI: Panic At


Pinecrest
“Then I suppose it is a date! Onward! To Valencia!”
The presence of the Forest Guardian
had Juliette shook that she planned to
set off to the kingdom of Valencia the
following morning.
Fighting their way to get to Customs,
the guards were on high alert due to
Goblin presence in the area, and none
would pass into the kingdom,
upsetting Juliette that resulted in a
time out for our heroes.
With some quick wit from the hero,
our heroes were freed from captivity.
The heroes set for the Goblin Caves,
seeing an elf getting chased by
goblins on the way to the nearby
town, Pinecrest.
Taking a detour from the Goblin
Caves, the heroes went to Pinecrest to
meet the earlier chased elf, Farona.
Tired from their journey, the heroes
stopped at the Inn for a good rest,
meeting Annabelle.
The heroes went to talk to Farona, but
then Annabelle was captured.
Farona joined the party to travel to the
Goblin caves, battling many goblins,
and recovering from their battles,
before facing the Goblin Queen to
rescue Annabelle from her fate.
After the demise of the Goblin Queen,
the heroes celebrated at Annabelle’s
Inn for some ale. Annabelle took the
hero upstairs to show her gratitude for
her rescue. 2

Chapter ⅠII: The Feisty


Feline
“It seems there has been a mysterious presence tainting these woods…”
Well rested, our heroes departed Pinecrest
to tell their tale of the Goblin Queen’s
demise to pass through customs to travel
to the Kingdom of Valencia.
Entering the vast gates to Valencia, the
heroes take in the sights, especially to a
pink feline that comes near them.
Upon requesting an audience with the
queen, it turns out that she has taken a
leave of personal time, so our heroes will
have to wait until the following day. Thus,
they spend the day exploring Valencia
until they go for a drink at the local bar.
While filling their stomachs, our heroes
heard stories of local residences have
been going missing, but the hearing of
gossip did not last as the pink feline stole
Juliette’s Royal Sigil.
Giving chase out the bar and the kingdom,
our heroes ended up at the Lost Woods
entrance. With no option in turning back,
they went into the Lost Woods to capture
the pink feline.
Navigating the darkness of the woods
they finally cornered the feline only to
discover that the cat was a witch named
Dahlia, and she needs their help with the
real culprit tainting her home.
After more navigation, our heroes found
the source to rid the purple mushrooms
leading to the Witch’s Hut.
Recovering from their navigation, our
heroes then fought the witch, and saved
the missing citizens of Valencia.
Victory came with a price however, where
the hero had to help Dahlia with her
experiments. 3

Chapter ⅠII Side Quests

Rescue Quest
Rescue Snuggles
Reward
2000 Gold

Near the Inn in Valencia, a little girl needs help rescuing her kitten “Snuggles” that
is on the roof. Enter the Inn, go to the second floor and climb up the rope located in
the left corner of the floor, scaling the roofs to rescue Snuggles. The little girl gives
2000 Gold for your injuries.

Voy Yeur Specs

An old man near the Valencia Weapon and Armour Shop on the west side of the
Kingdom, is selling special glasses for 2500 Gold, purchase the Voy Yeur Specs to
unlock special scenes, example of such scene is interacting with stars that appear
near a window on the second floor of the Inn, where you will find the queen of
Valencia is up to something.

Chapter ⅠV: Making A


Splash
“To think our reunion would end so swiftly! Heroes of Light, meet your
end!”
With the kingdom folk rescued, it was
time to meet with the queen of Valencia.
While Juliette was having the audience of
the queen, the three heroes went exploring
more of Valencia. They then came across
a suspicious character to the east, entering
the Valencia sewers, a secret entrance to
the castle.
Our heroes navigated the sewers, pulling
levers to progress to the secret entrance
while fighting the sewer inhabitants.
Eventually finding a resting point before
helping Juliette and battling the Black
Knight.
Victory was uncertain against this
powerful foe that with some quick wit
from Farona before a massive blow could
be dealt, our heroes managed to escape.
Landing in the Autumn Grotto, the heroes
meet with the Earth Fairy that grants them
the power of teleportation, along with a
heading to sail north to find the Fire Fairy.
Using their newfound power, the heroes
warp back to Valencia (find option in
game menu).
Back in Valencia the heroes discuss the
turn of events, Juliette mentions her
audience with the queen and that it was
cut short.
Their journey north was put on hold for a
trip to the bathhouse, where only two
people could enter at a time, Juliette was
more than happy to bathe with our hero.

Chapter V: Tropical
Trouble
“Yep! You’re looking at the captain of this beaut! Name’s Valerie!”
After a much-needed bath, the heroes
were ready to find the Fire Fairy. Luck
was on their side with a pirate,
Valerie, that was happy to sail the
Grockian seas on The Golden Shark.
Docking on the Grockian island, the
heroes entered the Deserts of Grockia
fighting its inhabitants before entering
Valerie’s home, the desolate town of
Obsidia.
Valerie disbands from the group to
enter the Inn, however as she had
proven to be a capable fighter, the
heroes wanted her, despite some
complaint from Juliette.
Through some convincing Valerie
once again joined the hero party to
venture into the volcano.
The heat and enemies were not to be
taken lightly in the volcano, eventually
entering the Heart of Fire to defeat the
Spirit of Fire guardian to free the Fire
Fairy.
Speaking with the Fire Fairy, the
heroes gained the Blessing of Fire – a
powerful ability to melt dense snow –
and told to find her sister, the Water
Fairy, located in the Verdant Plains.
Sailing back to Valencia, with the
others resting Valeria and the hero had
a chat before Valeria proposes to show
our hero how she rides his sails.

Chapter V Side Quest

Fetch Quest
A Witch’s Brew
Reward
???

With the narrow escape from the Black Knight, visiting Dhalia’s
Cottage she has a request to make, her love potion had failed, and she
requires a poisonous petal from the mythical Rafflesia passed a gate in
the Forgotten Forest. Exploring the Forgotten Forest where you will
find the Rafflesia, fight her to calm her down and obtain the Purple
Rose.
Coming back to her Cottage, she begins her making her concoction
with your help.

Chapter VI: The Dark


Queen
“A truly powerful Queen deserves a kingdom. Valencia will be mine.”
Docking back in Valencia, our heroes
made their way to the Verdant Plains
to melt the dense snow that prevented
them from entering the Snowy Cap
Valley.
Navigating through the Snowy Cap
Valley, our heroes entered the icy
neighbour of Pinecrest, Glissvale.
On their way to the Temple of Water,
they were stopped by an old man and
tasked with investigating a disturbance
at the Tower of Ancients West of
Glissvale in the Snowy Cap Valley.
Finding and using the Seal to open the
Tower, our heroes fought their way up
the tower to the highest peak.
What await them on top the tallest
tower was the Black Knight, before a
fight broke out, the Dark Queen
appeared to proclaim her dominance.
The Dark Queen disappeared leaving
her pet to be battled.
Returning to Glissvale, speaking to the
old man the heroes learnt that only
two people could enter the Temple of
Water at a time, Farona and the hero
volunteered to speak with the Water
Fairy.
Praying to the Water Fairy, Farona
conveyed a sacred act had to be
performed before the Water Fairy.
After the act was performed, the
Water Fairy gave her blessing with a
task to restore the Elemental Crystals.

Chapter VI Side Quest

Rescue Quest
Rescue Maid
Reward
???

After the Fire Fairy has been freed, Annabelle in Pinecrest has an
urgent request, a townsfolk has been kidnapped by the pesky Goblins
again, and Annabelle will be tagging along.
Travel back to the Goblin Cave and enter an open area on the right of
the cave entrance to get a cut scene with Annabelle getting some much-
needed revenge. Make your way through the mine and find the maid
with the Goblin King. Defeat the Goblin King and be taken back to
Pinecrest for a brief cut scene.
As a reward, Farona and Annabelle decide to try a little bonding with
our hero.

Chapter VII: The Heroes of


Light
“If you wish to save this land, you will need to prove your worth.”

With the task to restore the


Elemental Crystals, our heroes
travelled to each location:
Ascending the third floor of the
Tower of Ancients to free the
Light Guardian, bracing the
flames in the Heart of Fire to
free the Fire Guardian, covering
their noses in Valencia Sewers
(all levers are pulled to open
door) to free the Water
Guardian, hiking through the
Lost Woods to free the Darkness
Guardian, and finally trailing
through Goo Forest to free the
Nature Guardian.
With the final Guardian freed,
our heroes were transported to
the Isle of the Goddesses, where
the Fairy of Earth, Water, and
Fire appear to tell of a sixth and
final Hero of Light.
The Black Knight appears, the
final Hero of Light, and
challenges the heroes to a duel.
After the duel with the Black
Knight, the fairies perform a
ritual to bestow the Hero with
the Sword of Light for the
impending battle against the
Dark Queen in her domain. 7

Chapter VII Side Quest

Fetch Quest
Explore Lost Ruins
Reward
???

After the being blessed by the Water Fairy, a woman in Valencia has a
treasure map that gives the location of the Lost Ruins. Valerie for her
to never leave a penny lying around, sets sail on the Golden Shark to
the Lost Ruins.
At the Lost Ruins, Valerie and Juliette set up a competition that
whoever gets to have you in the Captain’s Quarters on the voyage back
to Valencia.
Finding a way into the Lost Ruins a giant parrot was guarding the
treasure, a battle ensued, and with a few pecks the battle was won.
Not a moment after, Valerie and Juliette touched the treasure at the
same time they tried to get you to judge who won, hesitating you tell
them it is a tie, and they open the chest to find not gold or silver but a
Glistening Medallion.
On the voyage back, since it was a tie in the competition, Valerie and
Juliette both have fun with you in the Captain’s Quarters.

Chapter VIII: The Dark


Queen’s Wrath

“I WILL DESTROY YOU ALL AND TAKE WHAT’S MINE!”


After much preparation, the Heroes of
Light made their way to the Tower of
Ancients highest peak, where the
Black Knight swung her blade to rip
open a portal to the Dark Queen’s
Realm.
Once in the realm, our heroes battled
the inhabitants to activate the power
crystals for a bridge to the next floor
to appear, and then fighting their way
to the second floor before climbing the
stairs to their destination.
The Queen on her thrown, had awaited
their arrival, and spoke of terrible
secret before a battle ensued.
With victory in sight after beating her,
the Dark Queen pulled all into a Chaos
Realm where she used her Chaos
Crystal to unleash her ultimate power.
The battle was fierce, but finally she
was bested. With her defeat the realm
was breaking, so the Queen pulled all
out, leaving our hero to have a chat
with, before releasing him as well.
Back at the Isle of the Goddesses the
heroes celebrated their victory and a
chat with the Dark Queen before she
disappeared, and Juliette took our hero
to have a celebration of their own.

Within Valencia’s walls, is the prestigious Woodland Chateau. Carmin the bunny is looking for
her sisters, Juniper, and Berry, and tasked you to find them.

Quest #1: Now I am the Master


You will find Juniper outside Valencia to the west, at a statue, a Sapphire
that Carmine gives you, a portal will open to transport you to the Trial of
Water. In the Water Trial, Juniper needs help completing the trial. You
will fight enemies, and answer questions before facing Undine, Goddess
of the Sea. Beating Undine, you become the master of the Chateau.

Quest #2: Greed is Good


Reaching the Deserts of Grockia, Carmin has gone missing, and Juniper
sends you off with a Citrine to open the portal located top East of the
Desert that will take you to the Trial of Greed. Carmin greets you as you
enter, and you will navigate the floors keeping your pockets empty to
eventually face Iset. Beating Iset, Carmine’s room has been refurbished.

Quest #3: Have Courage Little One


Saving Obsidia, Carmin tasks you with finding Berry, given a Jade, the
portal is located South of the Snow Cap Valley that will take you to the
Trial of Courage. Berry welcomes you, and you must brave through the
horrors to then face Alecto’s Pet. Beating Alecto’s Pet, Berry’s room has
been refurbished.

Quest #4: The Fluffiest of Fluffs


After meeting the Water Fairy, the Woodland Trio is nowhere to be found in the
Chateau, obtaining a Garnet, another trial awaits you with a portal, taking you to
the Trial of Unity. Through the portal you find yourself in the Bunny Manor, where
you dance with the trio and eventually have a friendly spare with the Goddess of
Mystery. With the Chateau fully restored you learn the truth of the Woodland Trio.

Directional Keys: To move your character in the


game, press the directional keys on the keyboard
or numpad.

Interacting with objects/characters in the game: To


interact with objects, options, or characters in the game
press Z, Enter, or Spacebar keys.

Bringing up the Game Menu: The Game Menu is where


you can check the Quests and character status, see what
items and equipment you have, Save, Load, exit to the
main menu or exit the game. Press X or Esc keys to bring
up the Game Menu.
Note: X is also used to cancel/backspace.

Skills
Skills are abilities your heroes have at their disposal to deal extra damage
to enemies, debuff enemies, heal allies, and buff allies. Skills are separated
into two categories, Magic Skills and Special Skills.
Magic Skills
Magic Skills are skills that require Mana/Magic Points to use.
Special Skills
Special Skills are skills that require Battle Points. 5 BP (10 if Guarding) is
gained from performing an action, an extra 16 BP can be gained from
setting a mode to increase the amount by a certain action.
