Definition of robots:
Robot is any automatically operated machine that replaces human
effort.
Robot is a machine, usually one that engineers can program, that is
capable of carrying out a series of actions.

Laws For Robots:

Robots must never harm human beings.
Robots must follow instructions from humans without violating rule

Robots must protect themselves without violating other rules.

Importance of Robots:
 Safety: Safety is the most obvious advantage of utilizing robots,
heavy machinery and sharp objects that can easily injure
human, by delegating dangerous tasks to robots, we can avoid
human accidents.

Industrial application of robots:

 Sphero: Sphero is a robotic ball which
is used as a racing robot.
 Gita: Gita is a mobile carrier which
can be used to carry everything from
heavy books between classes to groceries.
 MOXI: Moxi is used in hospitals like
setting up patient rooms and restocking
supply rooms. Moxi is even imbuded with
“social intelligence” that’s conveyed
through its head movements and LED
eyes.
 ANYBOTS: Anybots is equipped with
a speaker, camera and video screen. Your
Robot, which has a built in guidance
system like video streaming.
 ATLAS: Atlas is human and animal-
like dexterity that handles objects climbs
stairs and will operate in offices, homes
and outdoors.
 HV-100: HV-100 serves major
agricultural players across the U.S to help
increase productivity, efficiency and plant
quality.
