Technical Requirements

• A webcam-enabled laptop and a calculator is required for this test. Do not access the test on a mobile phone.
• Please use Chrome, Firefox, or Opera as the web browser. Do not use Internet Explorer.
• Ensure that you have a stable internet connection while doing the test, especially since you will need to record a video of yourself answering
some questions.

Assessment Format
• The assessment consists of two sections. The first section (25 minutes) consists of a mix of qualitative reasoning, business logic, and calculation
questions, all centered around a single business scenario. The second section is a short video assessment, where you will be given a case-
related question, one minute to prepare your answer and another minute to record it.
• Before the assessment proper, you will be given access to a practice case. This will be shorter than the actual assessment and will omit the
video component.

Please register for the practice case using the same email as you used to apply for BCG.
• For the case assessment itself, an invitation email will be sent to you from our technology partner, Impress. Follow the instructions on the
invitation email to start the assessment.
• If you do not receive the email, please search in spam folder or All Mail – in the mail search bar, type in website@impress.ai or simply
impress.ai.

Tips and Troubleshooting


• You should aim to complete the test in one sitting as the timer will continue to run even if you are logged out. However, if you are interrupted,
you can log back in using the same invitation email and password. You will be brought back to where you left off.
• If you encounter significant delays during the test, click “Refresh” on your browser. You will not lose the progress that you have made when you
refresh. Delays can be minimized by ensuring that you have a stable internet connection.
• You may find it useful to zoom out on your browser in order to fit all the options/text in one screen. For example, this is how you can zoom in/out
if you are using Chrome as your browser: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/96810
• The video portion of the interview requires a webcam-enabled laptop. Please ensure that other applications that may access or interfere
with your webcam (such as other videoconferencing solutions) are switched off. If your browser continues to experience issues accessing
your webcam, try rebooting, changing to another approved browser (Chrome, Firefox, Opera), or another computer.
• Do note that if the internet connection is slightly unstable, the video service may take up to 30 seconds to connect and initiate. If you continue to
experience issues, please try again with another Internet connection.
