Eligibility
To be eligible for a Chevening Scholarship you must:
• Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country or territory.
• Return to your country of citizenship for a minimum of two years after your award has ended.
• Have completed all components of an undergraduate degree that will enable you to gain entry onto
a postgraduate programme at a UK university by the time you submit your application. This is
typically equivalent to an upper second-class 2:1 honours degree in the UK.
• Have at least two years of work experience.

The Matsumae International Foundation (MIF) is a nongovernmental organization whose fund is solely
based on donations from many Japanese people who have responded with goodwill to Dr. Shigeyoshi
Mataumae’s call, meet all of the following eligibility requirements are invited to submit the required

• Applicants must obtain a Letter of Invitation from host institutions in Japan.

15 WMG Excellence Scholarships
WMG scholarships are merit-based awards, available on a competitive basis. Applications will be
judged on past academic achievement, professional experience, reasons for study, and your vision for
the future. WMG Excellence Scholarships are awarded on a % discount of the tuition fees, with awards
ranging from 10% to 50% tuition fee discount.
Eligibility
• Applicants must hold an offer to study on a WMG full-time MSc course starting October 2020.
• Applicants should have an excellent academic track-record and/or strong professional profile in
order to qualify.
• For conditional offer-holders, scholarship awards will also be conditional on achieving the awardee's
final predicted grade.
• WMG Excellence Scholarships are for self-funded students only. NB: students with partial bursaries
on scholarship-loan schemes or partially funded by an external organisation may also be considered.
Awardees should inform the scholarship committee if they are in receipt of another scholarship or
are later awarded other funding.

Program
This one-year postgraduate degree course provides advanced, comprehensive and practical training in
IHL, international human rights law, international refugee law, international criminal law, as well as the
interplay between them.
Eligibility:
Candidates must have:
• A full degree in law(received by June at the latest) enabling the applicant to sit the bar exam in
the relevant country; or another degree if the applicant has a significant amount of training in public
international law and courses related to our programme (e.g. international human rights law,
international humanitarian law, international criminal law)
• A strong academic record
• A demonstrable interest in the subject matter of the programme (e.g. professional experience,
internships, summer school, conferences attended, publications, etc.)
• A sound command of English. You must be able to show, via a recognized test, that your English
is of a high enough standard to successfully engage with and complete your course at the Geneva

The Barer Institute selects annually three to four mid-career leaders from lower to middle income
countries to enroll in the Sustainable International Development LL.M. Program and serve as change
makers in their home countries upon graduation.
Eligibility:

The TY Danjuma MBA Scholarship provides financial support to post-graduate African students who
have been accepted onto MBA programmes at the top-10 leading Business Schools in the world. The
Financial Times MBA Global Ranking for 2019 lists the top ten schools as; Stanford Graduate School of
Business, Harvard Business School, INSEAD, University of Pennsylvania: Wharton, Ceibs, London
Business School, University of Chicago: Booth, MIT: Sloan, Columbia Business School and University of
California at Berkeley: Haas.
Eligibility
• All successful African MBA applicants to the top ten Business Schools (as ranked by the Financial
Times) are eligible to receive The TY Danjuma MBA Scholarship regardless of domicile. The grant is
awarded to successful candidates prior to the annual intake for that Business School. The TY
Danjuma MBA Scholarship is intended to provide additional financial support to help African
students bridge some of the financial burden attached to taking on MBA programmes, it will not be
enough to act as the primary sourcce of funding for these programmes.

Olam recognises the need to foster leadership and governance in Sub Saharan Africa by supporting
