    Dear Mrs Sykes,

    I’m writing to apply for the position of activity co-ordinator advertised in the local job centre.

    As an excellent swimmer I have been enthusiastically involved in different championships,


    competitions and swimming programs in my local community, which has allowed me to developed
    interpersonal skills to work with children as well as organization skills. To work only on weekends
    suits me well since I study and train on weekdays.

    Personal attributes that I believe make me suitable for the position include:

    Energy: I’m a young person who is highly motivated and passionate about swimming and teaching
    children what I have learned.

    Willingness to work: I am opened to do any other activity required in the workplace.

    I am aware that you will receive more applications for this job, but I would very much appreciate
    the opportunity to demonstrate my capabilities and swimming teaching technique.
