Ruby on Rails Developer

QAT Global, a 25+ years IT consulting firm based in the US, is seeking a highly-skilled Sr. Ruby on
Rails Developer with the ability to communicate well in English. This position will work directly
with the customer located in the US and with development teams in our US, Costa Rica, and Brazil
locations.

• This opportunity can be 100% remote

• Only hiring QAT Employees (CLT only in Brazil)

Required Experience

• Solid background in a software development related field

• Strong background with Ruby development (Ruby, Ruby on Rails)

• Hands-on front end experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular or React development

• Good knowledge and experience in Object-oriented Design and Coding

• Good knowledge and experience with Relational Databases

• Experience designing responsive web apps for use in everything from smartphones to
desktops

• Good knowledge and experience with Design Patterns

• Can work well with people and in teams: excellent interpersonal, written/verbal
communication, and organizational skills in English.

• Can get things done on time: maintains a sense of urgency for project timelines. Is a self-
starter with the confidence to work independently.

Preferred Experience

• BS/MS in Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or

equivalent
