Introduction
Much awaited Advisor® 8.0 is here with exciting new features which will increase
productivity, accuracy and helps you to maximize value from the diamond.

What’s New?
1. Saw plane width by minimum sawing distance
Increase accuracy and reduce weight loss by defining saw thickness according
to its depth. Advisor® 8.0 automatically locates the sawing starting point that will
result in the shortest sawing distance and calculate its width (weight loss) based
on stone size, type and sawing distance.

2. Fast Remap
Mark up to 25% more stones daily on DiaMark® Nano & ATOM using Mix
remapping option!

3. Groove Rough Skin

Advisor® 8.0 automatically detects grooves and allows you to preconfigure how
much safety distance should be kept from those grooves based on the groove
depth and stone size thus saving time and protecting your plan!

4. Inclusion Manipulation
Increase your productivity and ease of use as with Advisor® 8.0 controlling your
inclusions is simpler and much faster!

• Double click on an inclusion will change its state.

• Select multiple inclusions and change state, clarity, safety distance, etc of all
selected inclusions right from plan tab.

5. QC in full screen
Increase focus while quality checking galaxy inclusions by working in full screen.
All QC functions are now available in full screen mode, making the process
faster and more accurate.

6. Auto set polish properties after part/brut remap

Achieve zero human error in reallocating after part/brut remap as Advisor® 8.0
automatically sets the color, clarity, shape, institutes, cut grades and the
inclusions state as per the planned result so that user can accurately validate
that the stone was processed as planned.

7. Best Triplet
Find the best three pieces’ solution out of many shapes in a single click! Using
Best Triplet advanced planning algorithm, Advisor® 8.0 checks all possible
combinations from all defined shapes in a template and provides you the one
which has the highest yield.

8. Freeze inclusions
There are cases where the planner wants to fix an inclusion state and prevent
Advisor® from changing it during automatic planning options. This is useful for
example, to avoid a big crack or a twining whisp. Now you can simply freeze
that inclusion and its state, clarity, safety will remain fixed until you unfreeze it,
resulting in more accurate and relevant results.

9. Together mode in polish reflection

Switching many Advisor tabs for judging clarity of the polish? You don’t need to
do it anymore. Together mode in Advisor® 8.0 allows you to see polish reflection,
galaxy video and 3D together in one view which helps you to stay focussed
while judging and fine tuning the clarity of a polish.

10. Uninterrupted Auto Planner

Minimise human handling with nonstop auto planner. Any unfortunate error or
crashes during auto planner? No worries! New smarter Auto planner algorithm
automatically handles it for you such that planning is not interrupted.

11. Rough Skin by stone weight

Achieve the planed polished stone and prevent cases in which wrong rough
skin distance also affects the final polish diameter.

This feature enables you to define safety distance between the polish to the
rough skin by the rough stone weight.

12. Auto block remainders
Be accurate and superfast in defining saw plane remainders for blocking a
polish. Advisor® 8.0 brings you a single click solution for solution. Now you can
easily view and mark blocking instructions.

13. Start sawing point

Decrease sawing loss by cutting saw from its minimum depth direction. Don’t
worry, Advisor® 8.0 automatically detects and indicates the starting point which
can be marked on stone so that operator in sawing department can easily
recognize it.

14. New Asymmetric Parameters

Increase yield and control of asymmetric planning of Round Shapes. A set of
new asymmetric parameters were added for Round shape which will help you
plan more accurately according to the industry standards.

15. H&A institute

Optimize your planned polish to include H&A pattern with the new H&A institute

16. Sarine light institute

Achieve Ultimate light performance with ‘Sarine light’ institute which simulates
the results of Sarine Light® system.

17. Interactive - Lock multi polishes
Advisor® 8.0 allows you to lock several polish results while manipulating the saw
plane location in order to optimize only the unlock polish result, thus protecting
finalized plans and expediting the planning process.

18. Skip realign symbol for part/brut remap

Expedite the realigning process by automatically skipping the manual symbol
verification step.

19. Automatically export finalized solution

Save time by and prevent user errors by automatic export upon result
finalization.

20. Physical HASP is not required any more

Be free from hassle of managing HASPs. Advisor 8.0 only requires a license key.
No shipping cost, no need to deal with faulty or broken HASP and enjoy a faster
delivery of versions and features.
