6. CONCLUSION & RECOMMENDATION

During three months of doing this project, I have gained a lot of knowledge about the research and ex-
perience on the topic war museum. At the initial stage, I have set up my objective and design process for this
three-month period. As we know that Siem Reap is defined as the potential area of Cambodia's development
plan, a land of wonder with a lot of ancient temples, especially Angkor Wat, a world-famous heritage site
that is a popular tourist destination. I really love the context and surrounding environment in the city, that
why I am motivated to find new idea and concept to improve the city particularly provide great benefit to
people. I believe that it is a potential area where people can gather from different destination to gain knowl-
edge with unique experience, particular see objects and learn about the war in Cambodia's history. In this
project, the museum's target is to perverse war objects collection and keep the memory of the history alive
and focus on the how-to deliver a unique experience to the visitor, particularly the indoor exhibition and
outdoor exhibition. As a result of doing this study in 3 months, I have got the positive result which follow
the objective that have been set up. On the other hand, there also have a little error during the process that I
can archive due to limitation of time and knowledge.

Finally, I hope that this project will contribute to the government sector to take into consideration the
development of Siem Reap province. Because the project duration is short, this project is not so perfect, I
hope that this study will be a guide for the next generation of architecture students to choose to study and
redo it in a better way.
