EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT FORM

It is with great pleasure that we offer you a role with Synergy Franchising (the “Company”).

This document (the “Agreement”) will outline the terms and conditions which your employment will consist of.

1. Position and Reporting Relationship


We are offering you a position to represent the Company in a professional capacity, which reports directly to the store
General Manager.

2. Change in Employment
You acknowledge and agree that the nature of the Company’s business requires a certain amount of flexibility in its
organization and employment structure and that, as a result, your duties, title, compensation, benefits and reporting
relationship may be modified by the Company from time to time.

3. Professional Expectations
You agree and understand that the effective performance of your duties requires the highest level of integrity and the
Company’s complete confidence in your relationship with other employees, customers, the Company, and with all persons
with whom you interact in the course of your employment. You acknowledge that you owe the Company a corresponding
duty of care and loyalty, and are required to ensure that you conduct yourself in a professional, ethical and business like
manner at all times.

You agree and understand that there will be zero tolerance for any for or harassment or abuse towards co-workers,
management or customers. Any incidents of harassment or abuse will result in immediate termination. Additionally, there
will be zero tolerance for theft and any occurrences will result in immediate termination and involvement of the Edmonton
Police.

4. Start Date, Probation Period and Term


Your employment will commence on ______________ , and will be subject to a three month probation period.

You acknowledge and agree that the Probation Period is designed to allow you and the Company to make a determination
about your suitability and/or compatibility for the position having regards to all factors.

The Company has the option to extend your employment for an indefinite term following the completion of the Probation
Period. One week prior to the end of your Probation Period, the Company will advise you as to whether or not it will be
extending your employment for an indefinite term. Notwithstanding that, neither you nor the Company are obligated to
maintain your employment until the end of the Probation Period, and can terminate your employment at an earlier point in
accordance with labor standards.

5. Company Policies
You acknowledge and agree that the Company’s policies and procedures, as instituted and amended by the Company in its
sole discretion, from time to time (collectively, the “Policies”) are incorporated into this Agreement as a term and condition
of your employment, and that you are required to be familiar with and abide by the standards and terms prescribed in
them.

6. Compensation
$15/hr
Your compensation will be ____________________.

7. Vacation
Vacation is permitted with a one month written notice. Under extraneous circumstances please contact your General
Manager if an emergency leave is required. Vacations are not paid; as you will be compensated 4% of your wage each pay
period as vacation pay.

8. Confidentiality
You acknowledge and agree that, as a result of your employment, you may acquire information about certain matters and
things that are confidential to the Company or to the various entities, which form Synergy Franchising or Popeyes Louisiana
Kitchen. This information is the exclusive property of the Company including, but not limited to:

i) Financial books and records, business plans, manufacturing, distribution, computer systems, information
concerning products, pricing, sales and marketing policies, techniques, trade secrets and concepts.
ii) Recipes, ingredients, operating policies, operating manuals and procedure.
iii) Lists of present and prospective customers, employees, and suppliers, and information related thereto; and
iv) Any other materials or information related to the personnel, business operations or activities of the Company.

You acknowledge and agree that any unauthorized disclosure of the Confidential Information could cause the
Company to suffer losses that cannot be monetarily compensated. Accordingly, you agree and undertake not to
disclose Confidential Information to any third party during the term of your employment or at any time
subsequent to the termination of your employment.

9. Return of Records and Company Property


You agree that, upon request or termination of your employment for any cause whatsoever, you will immediately return to
the Company all records, files, lists, documents, equipment, software, intellectual property, uniforms and any another
property belonging to the Company or to the Affiliated Entities, including all tangible forms of Confidential Information. Any
company property not returned will be deducted at its purchased value from the employee’s final pay.

10. Ownership of Copyright and Works and Intellectual Property


You acknowledge and agree the Company is the owner of copyright, all works, product of work, and the owner of
intellectual property created by you in the course of your employment with the Company, on behalf of the Company or
created in whole or in part with the assistance of the Company, unless there is an specific agreement to the contrary in
writing.

11. Entire Agreement


You acknowledge and agree to the terms of this agreement in its entirety and agree to abide by them.

I’ve had the opportunity to review this document with respect to terms and conditions of my employment as set out above.
I understand these terms and conditions, and hereby accept the Company’s employment offer.
