A Structured Approach
A. Agreement - It sets of rules that the children and teacher agree upon that will always
guide their work and guide their behavior.
Agree to the Three (3) C’s
a. Communication –talking and listening to other .
b. Cooperation – working together as a group
c. Concentration –the students think more excellent

B. Warm-Up - It is important in terms of drama because it will get the mind ready and the
body ready and just differentiate between the regular classroom activity that they may
have been doing before drama and the drama itself. This also differentiates it between play
and learning experience as well. There are different types of warm up: Vocal warm-up,
Concentration warm-up, Teamwork warm-up and Physical warm-up.
C. Focus - It acts as a stimulus from which they can share the information and knowledge to
help create a focus for their subject. it’s job with the scheme of work to the key stage.
D. Development - creating drama using different little structures that create a still image of
drama that will turn into something bigger.
a. Visualization - the visualization of drama in the structures approach is to picture an
image . In visualization the teachers want the students to think creatively about the
topic that is being looked at.
b. Soundscape - it is what you think about the sound they would hear. Think about how
will the children might create the sounds with the voice, with the body using the things
around them.
c. Bodyscape - creating a visual picture of the place where the setting was using without
props and just using a body to present. It is similar to soundscape
E. Performance - perform what they learn on the lesson and activity.
a. Frozen Scenes - using of body to present an image or setting of a work in a frozen
scene.
b. Thought Tracking – working together to make a still picture showing the work of the
students and what they thought the students will be given enough time to present
what they thought and proceed to frozen scenes.
F. Evaluation – evaluate what the children have done and learn to achieve what they
learned and differentiates the session from being just some playing having fun to actually
being about working and learning
