5.1. Conclusion

Based on the findings and discussion that have been described at the

previous chapter, the researcher would like to make the conclusions as follow:

1. There are eleven problems of non-equivalence faced by the students of

English department of Mulawarman University, they are: a. Culture-

term, g. differences in physical or interpersonal perspective, h.

in frequency and purpose of using specific forms, k. The use of loan

words in the source text. The problems were based on translation

problem theory from Baker (2012)

Description, Discursive creation, and Established equivalent, Literal

Translation, Modulation and Reduction.

3. The students had their own way to apply the strategies based on the

problem they had faced before even though the student faced the same

problem, but they had different solution for the problems.

5.2. Suggestion

According to the conclusions, the researcher would like to give some

suggestions, such as; 1) to students of English Department of Mulawarman

University of Teaching Training and Education Faculty, they are suggested and

expected to use this research as the study material for doing translation activities. By

seeing the employment of translation strategy, the English department students may

find it more comprehensible the way they employ the translation strategy in real life.

2) For the next researcher, the researcher suggests to gain more data as the research

fundamental. They may explore more the translation strategy which will open the

opportunity to gain information for the research content.
