0 FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION

4.1 Lack of Customer Engagement and Feedback

PaperWorks Cyberjaya social media sites use Facebook,tiktok, Shopee and Instagram.
But on Facebook have a negative reputation owing to the founder's lack of consumer
participation. The obstacle the entrepreneur must overcome stems from the beginning of the
company's existence when branding and awareness of the company are at an extremely low
level. This is due to the founder's limited interaction with customers on Facebook.

Despite the fact that they frequently post about their services, the number of likes and
comments remains low. For example, they frequently post the services they provide, such as
custom memo pads, polaroid’s, wedding cards, and various other design printing services, but
only some of the posts are priced. Customers may be less interested in making a reservation
as a result of this because they want to see the price first before agreeing to book in advance.

Furthermore, their website is intriguing but overly minimalistic. Although the founder
has listed what services are available to customers, there is no price listed for each service.
Although the price is stated on Shopee, the founder must also include it on their website
because customers will first search on Google and see their website before moving on to
other social media platforms. There is also a lack of feedback from their customers, or
perhaps they do not include all of the feedback they receive from their customers. This
indicates that the marketing plan should be implemented over a lengthy period of time by
publishing and updating customers in order to raise awareness in the short term and grow
brand recognition in the long run. Consumers may get what they want quickly by just sitting
in front of a computer screen and surfing websites. While social media marketing offers
many benefits for both consumers and businesses, it also has disadvantages.

Recommendation:

We recommend that the founder of Paperworks Printing Mr. Muhammad Zuhair Bin
Ariff, engage more with customers to get more feedback on their services. Not just that, as a
founder, since their Facebook posting is still lacking in engagement, maybe they also can buy
Facebook ads to help boost and promote their page. This will help customers to trust their
business and approaches them on social media such as WhatsApp or Facebook enquiring
about their product feedback. Customers that are pushed to behavioural change are engaged
by organizations that explore possibilities for emotional connections through continual,
consistently excellent experiences, according to Rohit Bansal in the journal “Customer
Engagement - A Literature Review.”

4.2 lack of manpower

Ahead of the release of the Labor Department's June jobs report, a survey of small
business owners by the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) found that half
reported job openings they could not fill, down just one point from May’s 48-year record
high. The NFIB’s monthly jobs report shows that just over a fifth or 23% of owners said that
labor quality was their top business problem, ranking second behind inflation. Eight percent
of owners cited labor costs as their top business problem, a historic high.

In PaperWorks' case, they also have a staffing issue in their store. They only have three
employees: Mr. Zuhair, his wife, and a staff member. As a result, their production
productivity is a little slower because there isn't enough manpower, or the customer's order
may not be completed in the requested time. Do they believe they want to wait for the
business to grow before they can afford to hire workers?

Because the printing industry requires a lot of manpower to facilitate the production of
PaperWorks company, it is necessary to hire workers with a brave mindset because we create
a business not to pay workers' salaries but to provide the best services to customers and
profits. They do not need to hire many people, but only those who are required to run the
business in order to reduce risk.

In addition, PaperWorks offers a café and a workspace in the morning for customers
who want to work in a different environment. This is a very good idea, but due to a lack of
workers, their workload increases because they must also fulfill printing and design orders
placed by customers while also providing food and drinks to customers who visit their
store.The benefits of the approach we offered are that it promotes and helps brand your
business to customers. It's not only about getting more leads and turning them into
customers; it's also about expressing the company's culture, values, and goals. The means of
linking that vision to your target audience is the heart of branding.
Recommendation:

From the article (MBA Skool Team, 2021), Manpower is defined as the entire number
of people hired by a company or available for a specific project assignment or activity. In
an organization, the workforce required for a specific task and in the future is estimated
and planned using several methodologies. For Paperworks printing, as we know they only
have three manpower including Mr. Muhammad Zuhair Bin Ariff, her wife, and one
worker to support. Our recommendation, it will be better if they can add extra manpower
to help the business run more smoothly. Not just that, with extra manpower, this business
will expand more and can produce much more services.

5.0 CONCLUSION

In conclusion, a small company like PaperWorks Cyberjaya has to comprehend the all
the issues that their company is facing and pinpoint any prospective answers. PaperWorks
should be aware of the benefits and drawbacks of any prospective solutions before making a
decision since doing so will help them be more prepared and better armed with information
that will aid in the future expansion and success of their company.
