PART II.
SEIA of proposed business

I. Introduction
Videography as my proposed business that is aligned with the video production
industry; as I scrutinize society, obviously that Filipinos love to treasure moments in
special events or days in their lives. I came up with the idea due to those people who
wanted to cherish the moment and make an amazing memory with their special love
ones. How can a person be able to keep and reminisce their special moments at the
same time? And my answer is, by capturing and recording those scenes with “Entirety
Moment Productions”.

Focusing on goals and mission is essential because this is one of the most
important things in business to stay competitive. My production wants to reach the
intended monthly quota. Aside from that I want for my business production to be known
as one of the prominent producer worldwide. I also expect my business in two or five
years as a successful production company and a successful videography business
industry most especially to satisfy and make the clients’ dream perspective of their
videos and be one of the reasons of their smiles as well. This production would not be
possible and this business will not be stable if I don’t have ideal clients such as
celebrants, occasion lovers, clients for advertisements and those responsible in special
events of a municipality.

I am up against those growing businesses that offer and use the same main
equipment like mine. I could hold advantage from my competitors through my video and
editing skills and strategies not just in terms of taking shots but also by offering my
clients a high quality video production in which they can enjoy to reminisce their special
moments. Plus, when it comes to the service fee, I will always make sure that Entirety
Moment production is worth the cost in every shoot that we will make.

The person behind the business venture “Entirety Moments” puts the business
on its competitive edge by means of being competitive to exceed and reach the desired
quota. Being motivated whenever I hear positive and negative comments that makes
me continually serves my productions to my clients. And in terms of innovation, I never
stop taking all the criticisms about my productions from clients because I see it as a
challenge that I need to improve until my production can serve them what they wanted.
Mission: To provide our clients a valuable keepsake, reminiscent record of their
memorable events and experience.

Vision: To be the most excellent and well-known Videography Studio in Philippine

history and be globally competitive in terms of Video Production.

Objectives:

1. Best value for the cost

2. Reliable service
3. Diversity and grow revenue streams
4. Improve technical skills
5. Be the most innovative

II. Scoping
Human resource is essential for the proposed business; it includes my
employees – producer, production assistant, camera operator, editors and
videographer. They are required to have skills such as technical skills, being creative,
passionate, has keen eyes for detail, a critical mind, organizational and time
management skills, these skills should be acquired nationally and by experience. Sta.
Cruz is being said that has a high rate of ages 18-24, this could be a chance for them to
apply for the position especially because youths today are more flexible to technologies
and it I an advantage for them because I need a young flexible to techs for my
production. I will hire in every barangays here in Sta. Cruz, minimum of 5 people each
barangays. These people will be enough for all the positions that the production will
need. This includes Director, editors, camera operator, stylist, make-up artist etc.

Effects vary greatly among different industries and facility locations. This videography
business is not just for the citizen but can also for the Municipality, Province/City and
communities’ events like festivals and their special events However, studies often focus
on:
 Government impacts
 Business impacts
 Individual impacts
 Sustainability

Table 1 shows the potential impacts of the proposed business.

Business Impact Local Purchases
 The proposed business may
avail by anyone, means the
117,605 people in Sta. Cruz
municipality may purchase our
service for the certain occasion
to be a video production.

Social Impact
 It will create public value that is
sustainable and new
innovations. Entirety Moment
can provide a variety of training
and skill-development activities
for different groups and levels of
users and can play an important
role in higher education
activities at several levels Entire
Moment can retain or attract
talent as producers, technicians
and locals gain access to the
most recent technological
results, and learn how to use
advanced tech equipment. The
local innovation system can
additionally benefit from
promotional and advertisement
skills acquired by management.
Individual Impact Employment
 The new business will create job
opportunities for the locals with
required skill levels.
Skill development
 The broader impacts of Entirety
Moment on skills are often
difficult to trace and measure.
Some of the more important
individual impacts include the
role this business to play in
technical communication and
technical education, and
presenting narratives to
strengthen the positive image of
videography. Entirety Moment
can make a very significant
contribution to raising public
awareness and enhancing the
popularity of technology
especially in creating a
production through information
events like open days,
exhibitions, lectures, and
seminars. This can inspire more
locals to learn production.

Sustainability Economic Effect
 The business would earn more
customers, and profits for future
expansions and growth of the
business. The proposed
business will give opportunity
employment and job offers for
the locals with their skills in
terms of creativity and
profession.
 During the design and
production phase, some direct
economic impacts (revenues,
new jobs, increased spending)
arise from the participation of
local workers, various service
providers, and person involved
in the project and production of
the videos. While a production
or upgrading phase is inevitably
limited in time and therefore its
direct effects are short-term in
nature, it can have a further
multiplier effect on the local
economy, as the companies
involved in advertisement videos
or supplying advanced
equipment will gain valuable
experience and enhance their
reputation.
 The impacts of this business are
typically longer-lasting during
the production phase. They
include jobs fore editors,
technicians, administrative and
as well as opportunities for
additional work in high school
establishments. The operation of
Entirety Moment generates
consumption, as funds are
spent to purchase equipment.
Entirety Moment also needs to be
regularly maintained and
periodically upgraded. These
direct impacts have further
multiplier effects on the local
economy and the relevant global
service chains.
Technological impact and impact  Depending on the skills of the
on innovation hired workers, applicability of
the knowledge will develop;
those skills might have a
technological impact. A further
important objective of this
proposed business is to
contribute to the innovation
activities of businesses. The
most common indicators in this
area measure collaboration
between firms and events.

III. Profiling Baseline Data

Sta. Cruz is the capital town of the province of Laguna. As the municipality is
known as a business center, it will impact my proposed business to be known too. Its
population as determined by the 2015 Census was 117,605. In summarization the
highest ratio ranges to 10,693-11,622 ages 5-24 years old, means these ages are more
active in participating or conducting an events such, birthday parties, debuts, weddings
etc. Additionally when it comes to the special events in the province or municipality such
Anilag festival, Kesong Puti festival and other events will bring opportunities for my
business, occasions may aim to create financial advantages for the community and
surrounding area which they take place; the staffs in municipality and the locals may
avail our service and be greatly satisfied by the production by its high quality cameras
and edits. When it comes to marketing service to a younger and older generation it may
be an impact to my business to adjust in a certain occasion.

The taxation for basic services like, water, electricity and property will be deduct
to the profit and not directly to gross income. Additionally, standard of living will be
affected as the business and employees wealth increases, they will tend to spend more
that makes the demand increase for more services and goods and eventually be the
cause of economic growth. The proposed business’ economic activity will lead to an
increase in standard of living.

produced that they may use as thier promotional advertisment of the municipality's spots
and destinations.

 Lack of Two-way communication- formal communication trainings
 Project Delays- determine the project’s scope and objectives
 Budget issues- budget and financial management training
 Long creation process- follow the schedule carefully, prioritize tasks
 Unskilled worker- hire the right person at the start

III. Conclusion and Recommendations

As I conduct and utilize research that has relevance to SEIA of proposed
business I may conclude that as videography technology grows its development,
videography have more access to business industry. Markets will be able to
purchase things that are related to graphics, HD video recorder and maybe a
production team to create the company’s advertisements and promotional videos.
Since brands are justified in investing in videos, it is not impossible at all for my
videography business to be known. I recommend that in this industry, the owner
should have a high definition camera and equipment thus, the content would be
more appealing and satisfying to the viewers. Additionally, if an owner wants to his
business be known, he should ensure that his service is up to date. To be precise,
his edits and production should be in demand and not tacky, and of course the
clients’ request or theme will be the number 1 priority to be make and produce.
