1. Explain the 3 major components of the computer system

Answer:

1. Input devices: These allow users to enter data and instructions into the computer. Examples include keyboards,
mice, scanners, and game controllers.

2. Output devices: These allow the computer to display, print, or store the results of a program. Examples include
monitors, printers, and storage devices.

3. Processor: This is the “brain” of the computer and is responsible for running the instructions of a program. It
contains the central processing unit (CPU) and memory.

1) Microsoft Window (Initial release date: November 20, 1985)
