Colors make life colorful. The rainbow is made up of many colors.

Fruit and vegetables are often

very colorful. And our clothes can also be beautifully colorful. A strong color is red (1). Many fruits
are red, for example strawberries. There are also red vegetables like tomatoes. Many flowers are
red, for example roses. Bananas, lemons and corn are yellow (2) like the sun. The sky is blue
when the weather is nice. There are many different types of blue: light blue(3) or dark (4),
turquoise (5) or sky blue (6).

All colors together result in black (7). The night is black. The opposite of black is white (8). There
are white flowers, the clouds are white. Or the snow. A lot in nature is green (9): leaves, grass and
trees. The trunks of the trees are mostly brown (10). Or coffee or baked bread.

There are still a lot of colors: pigeons are gray(11), for example, the sky is orange (12) at sunset.
A strong color is pink (13) : it stands out. In nature there are pink flowers or birds. Purple is
similar(14), many flowers are purple or rose-red. The noble colors are golden (15) and silver (16):
we find them in precious stones and jewelry.
