Learners usually face challenges due to influence from their peers. Most of them are not
aware of the dangers of peer influence. Managing peer influence helps learners to avoid the
dangers of peer influence.

DEFINITION OF PEER PREASSURE
Peer pressure is known as the direct or indirect effects on people by friends, acquaintances,
or people in their environment. It also refers to the authority that friends, acquaintances, or
people in their environment have on an individual and how it affects the way one thinks or
acts.
