NARRATIVE CITATION
• According to Estrebor (2015), among oral traditions, the epic of the Ifugaos entitled The Prowess of
Aliguyon foretells the life of their ancestors. Some of their traditions and beliefs are mentioned.
• Constatino (2021) found that one of the most important oral traditions practiced to this date in the province
of Ifugao and among its people is the singing (chanting) of Hudhud, one of the oldest in the Philippines.
