GENERAL

1. General

This chapter sets out instructions relative to standard nut and bolt work
together with procedures for line installation, cable checking, bonding,
sealing, protective treatment/paint, etc...

Some principle of repairs, swaging, fixing process and the products and
ingredients implementation are described too in this chapter.

Section 20-31-00, deals with approved materials for aircraft maintenance and
repair.

R 2. Layout

A. Aircraft Effectivity

The effectivity is indicated in the block effectivity at the bottom of the

variant page (or in front of variant text part with the customer code).

Data without effectivity designation are applicable to all aircrafts.

B. Numbering of Pages

In the case of a blank page being used in a numbering sequence, this is

indicated in the LEP by the work "blank". Also the page preceeding the blank
page will have a double numbering.

Example: if the back page of page 3 is blank, the page 3 will be numbered
3/4 (ex. 1, 2, 3/4, 5, 6...).

After un update, the pages added to the end of a section are numbered
following the previous ones.

Pages inserted between existing pages bear the number of the previous page
with a capital letter suffix taken from the alphabetical order (valid for
figure number too).

C. Updating of the Chapter

The update service is periodically provided. The update is materialized by

an "R" located in the left hand margin of the pages of text. The pages that
are not technically modified but that have been "moved" are identified by a
revision "R" in the lower left hand margin in front of the date.

Revised Figures are identified by a "R" in front of the Figure Number.
