tonight. We have a remarkable guest with us, Nando Parrado, one of the survivors
of the tragic Andes plane crash. Nando, thank you so much for being here.

Nando Parrado: Thank you for having me. It's an honor to share our story.

Host: Nando, the world knows about the incredible ordeal you and your fellow
survivors went through. Can you tell us what it was like being stranded in the
Andes mountains?

Nando Parrado: It was a harrowing experience, to say the least. The cold was
relentless, and we faced hunger and despair. But even in those darkest moments,
we held on to the hope of being rescued.

Host: Your determination is truly inspiring. How did you manage to keep that hope
alive?

Nando Parrado: We leaned on each other for support. Our unity and friendship
played a crucial role. We knew we had to stay strong for ourselves and for each
other.

Host: Your resilience is truly remarkable. Can you share a moment that stands out
to you during your time in the mountains?

Nando Parrado: One of the most challenging moments was when we realized we
needed to make a difficult decision to survive. We had to resort to extreme
measures to sustain ourselves, and that was a heart-wrenching choice we had to
make.

Host: I can't even imagine the emotions you must have felt. How did you ultimately
manage to be rescued?

Nando Parrado: After enduring weeks of hardship, a small group of us decided to

trek through the treacherous terrain in search of help. It was a journey filled with
dangers, but our determination and will to live pushed us forward. Eventually, we
were able to make contact with rescuers, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Host: Your story truly embodies the strength of the human spirit. What message
would you like to share with our audience, especially in challenging times?
Nando Parrado: I want people to know that even in the face of unimaginable
challenges, there's always hope. We have a reservoir of strength within us, and
when we come together and support one another, we can overcome the seemingly
impossible.
