The Valmet Doctor FB reduces the problem of fiber carry-over underneath the
removal device.

fiber being carried over. The Valmet Doctor FB solves
the problem of carry-over when it occurs on such a
scale that it is a problem.

How it works
The plastic blade on the removal device is replaced
with a new one that is actuated by air. The system,
which is pressurized during operation, forces the
plastic blade into contact with the surface of the roll

and thereby compensates for local deflection of the

beam.
