Quarter 1

On this lesson, I have planned to incorporate the topic I have attended last October 21, 2022, on "Learner
Diversity & Student Inclusion" by providing group work and facilitating collaborative learning. I did let my
students work in pairs and in small groups (highlighted with red arrow) to solve quadratic equations by
factoring. For me, students need to be mixed with different abilities, strengths, and backgrounds in each
group to foster peer learning and cooperation that eventually promote a collaborative learning environment
where students can benefit from each other's perspectives and experiences. For the analysis part of our
class discussion, I always encourage active participation and ask them to question for any
misunderstanding they’ll have all throughout the discussion. Because by doing so, a classroom culture will
be created and practiced where students feel comfortable asking questions and participating actively in
discussions. I also give stars for every correct response they will be reciting as my way of positive
reinforcement to foster a sense of belonging and confidence among students.

Quarter 2

On this lesson, I have planned to incorporate the topic I have attended last November 29, 2022, on
"Diversity of Learner's Needs, Strengths, Interests & Experiences" by using diverse examples. When
introducing our lesson, to provide a wide range of examples that relate to different circumstances, I did ask
the occupation of their parents and the family bonding they have as well. Then, I presented the preliminary
activity I have planned to connect to their responses. After they have decoded the relevance of the said
activity, I did reiterate to them the importance of being socially sensitive and appreciative of all the efforts of
their parents regardless of what occupation the latter have because all of them came from a diverse family.
For this, all students did connect with the material I have presented in meaningful ways. Furthermore, to
accommodate the different learning styles, I did employ a mix of teaching methods, including visual aids,
hands-on activities, & group discussions all throughout the discussion. I believe, this approach guaranteed
that auditory, visual, kinesthetic, and reading/writing learners did all engage with the content effectively.

Quarter 3

On this lesson, I have planned to incorporate the topic I have attended last March 30, 2023, on "Developing
Critical, Creative, & Higher Order Thinking Skills" by starting the lesson briefly by recapping the Triangle
Similarity Theorems and their applications. Then, I have introduced the objective of the day’s lesson, which
is to apply these theorems to prove the similarity of triangles in various situations. To engage my students'
creative thinking, I presented real-life situation where triangle similarity is applicable. For instance, I
presented the shadow casted by Math teacher and the flagpole (Discussing new concepts and practicing
new skills #1). On the practical application part of the lesson, I divided the class into two groups and assign
each group a different scenario where triangle similarity is applied and did involve problem-solving and
critical thinking. Each group have analyzed the situation was tasked to persuade which group did present
the task accurately. Moreover, for the evaluation part, I provided the class problem that can be solved using
triangle similarity theorems which required creative thinking.
