Summary:

Dilemma Dumping Co’s percentage yields:

Material Removed from water (%) Completely separated (%)
Plastic 95 0
Iron 80 25
Sand 70 20
Dilemma Dumping Co’s 2 limitations:
-In the description of the dumping Co in the assessment task, it requires a worker to handpick
the visible iron he/she sees.
-The worker cannot or did not pick up all the iron in the debris (according to the percentage
yields).

The water that Dilemma Dumping Co process cannot be verified as safe to drink water since the
water is not 100% clean and it can have some sort of water contamination. This means that it
would be risky to consider the water usable in the community.

Pros & cons of my own way to process water:

*Pros

- exceptionally reliable in the quality of the water (since I put the “customers” at top priority)

- most of the materials are being recycled.

*Cons
-the purifying process of the water could be incredibly slow since the water needs to progress through
multiple layers of materials.

Note:

This is only a prototype of what I visualize, there could be technical issues or simply the cost of the
overall machinery.
