o DOLE shall be solely responsible for the administration,

OH Services
• An employer may not put up an emergency
hospital or dental clinic if there is a hospital or
dental clinic not more than 5 km away from the
workplace, accessible in no more than 25 minutes
travel, & employer provides transportation facilities
o Employer shall enter into MOA with the hospital for the
treatment of its workers in cases of emergency
o MD/DMD shall be subject to call at any time in other
shifts during emergencies.

OH Services
• OHMD engaged by the employer, in addition to
providing medical services in cases of emergency,
must also perform the following:
o Conduct PEME, free of charge, for the proper selection of
workers

o Conduct free of charge APE of the workers

o Collaborate with safety & technical personnel in the selection


& placement of workers, including investigation of work-
related accidents due to exposure to health hazards

o Develop & implement a comprehensive OH program for the


employees

Establishments from Setting Up Workplace Lactation
Stations
• An application for exemption may be granted for a renewable
period of 2 yrs. by DOLE RD upon determination that the
establishment of the facility isn’t feasible or necessary
• Coverage:
o Conditions are met at the time of application
o No female clients visit/transact with the establishment
o Establishments with no pregnant &/or lactating worker
• Annex A – Lactation Station Prototypes/Models & Lactation
Station Equivalency Guide following DOH requirements as
mandated by RA 10028 (Expanded Breastfeeding Promotion
Act of 2009)
o Granting of a total of no less than 40 minutes lactation breaks is
mandatory on top of regular breaks for meals
o Workplace breastfeeding policy should be formulated

home quarantine
