Income
If are employed
− If you have new employment that is covered by your work permit, the
Swedish Migration Agency wants a copy of your employment contract. If
you are working in the employment for which you have been granted a
work permit, you only need to send in your employment contract if it has
changed since you were granted a permit.
− Salary specification for the past month. The specification must state the
net salary, any salary supplements and salary deductions, and the name of
the employee and employer.
If you are self-employed or are a partner in a general or limited
partnership
− A copy of your final tax notice for the previous income year.
− A copy of your income tax return, together with a copy of your NE or
N3A schedules, for the previous income year.
− A copy of a preliminary tax decision for the current year from the Swedish
Tax Agency, or an account statement from your tax account for at least
three months where paid preliminary tax is clearly shown.
− If you have business activities abroad, you can send in other documents
that show that you have a regular return on the business activities during
your permit period.
If you have other income or allowances
− An explanation of what income or allowances you have and documents
that support this information. This may, for example, be a certificate from
the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan) where it is
stated what type of compensation it concerns and how much compensation
you receive.
Housing
If you have rental accommodations
− Your lease. The lease must state the rent, the name of the tenant and the
landlord and the term of the lease.
If you have bought a home or apartment
− A purchase contract or other deed of transfer. The document must state
that you own your dwelling.
