Challah

Ingredients:
● 3 cups all-purpose flour
● 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
● 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
● 1/2 teaspoon salt
● 1/2 cup warm water
● 1 dollop of honey
● 1 egg, beaten (for brushing)

Instructions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
2. Slowly add in the warm water and honey and mix until a dough forms.
3. Knead the dough for about 8-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
4. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a clean towel. Let it rise in a warm place for
about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
6. Once the dough has risen, shape it into a braided loaf.
7. Brush the beaten egg onto the top of the loaf.
8. Bake the challah in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
9. Remove from the oven and let it cool before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
